"i am not a creature that was born. i am a fire that was set"
Cassara:
As the fight comes to an end and all of the atredies soldiers are dead, i can see the anger in Feyd-Rauthas face. It was abundantly clear that the last soldier was not drugged like the other two men which made it more difficult for his defeat. Feyd looks up at the barons viewing box where i sit with a look of death on his face. As the crowds cheering begins to fade, he turns and storms into the only open chamber designated for the winner and although we can barely hear his screaming because we are so far away, i just know that he's absolutely losing his shit. The baron must sense my intrigue and slight discomfort from hearing Feyd throwing his temper tantrum because of what he's done to his nephews opponents. He looks over to me and says "good luck" with the darkest grin that sent chills down my spine. Although i am here to kill Feyd-Rautha it has to be done very specifically in order for success and if he kills me first practically my entire life would be for nothing. The Barron instructs his servants and people to exit his viewing box and to walk back to his main quarters so he can soak in his tub. We walk through the cold and dark hallways in silence, the tension in the air is so thick you could cut it with a knife. Everyone knows that Feyd-Rautha is going to charge into the barons room and make a spectacle about what happened in the arena. What we don't know is if any servant is going to lose their life for being in his way. While we are making our way back, the baron abruptly stops to say "bring the earls daughter to his quarters, i don't particularly care for her to be in the room while we discuss our politics" The mere second the last syllable leaves his tongue one of his servants briskly walks towards me and ushers me down one the of the long cold hallways towards the creatures living quarters, Feyd-Rautha where i shall wait.
When we arrive at his quarters i'm quickly pushed in and the door is slammed shut. His room looks oddly similar to my own bedroom at my childhood home, very angular with little to no decoration besides the furniture. The room is made up of black, white, and gray color palette with an exceptionally large circular mirror, much larger than the one in my room. There are no windows which is to be expected, but the light that does shine in the room does not fill it to its entirety, so i sit on the bed on my shins with my feet tucked under me in the dark. This is the moment, the moment i've been anticipating my entire life, to meet my target, to meet my destiny. I'm not sure how long i will have to wait but i keep my focus on the door in front of me. All of my things from what i've been told are in my own quarters in the guest wing, which isn't ideal since all of my weapons and equipment i will be using is tucked away in places no one will ever find. So as i sit here i know that if things go south i would have to rely on my hand to hand combat skills rather than my knifes or daggers.
As the clock ticks on there's a growing pit in my stomach. It's eerily quiet in the palace, no echos of screaming or death rattling through the halls, which is somehow not normal and it makes me almost physically sick. At this point it has probably been around 30 to 45 minutes since i've been trapped inside his bedroom and i genuinely don't know when to expect his arrival. Apart of me wants to snoop through his things, he has one large dresser and two small side tables, they must have something in them. However the idea of turning my back towards the door immediately shuts the previous idea down, no way in hell am i turning my back to the door. Just as the idea of going through his things disperses from my brain the door flys open and there stands the devil himself, Feyd-Rautha. He stands in the doorway staring at me as i stare back not giving into the initial shock i had from him swinging the door open so violently. He's still in his gladiator uniform and god he looks angry as hell. This is my first time seeing him up close, and his facial structure and features are deadly sharp it's almost impressive. As our stare down continues he breaks the statue like stance he had to move forward from the doorway and close it off to leave us in complete privacy. Feyd starts to ever so slowly walk towards me not breaking eye contact and i can feel my heartbeat starting to rise. He makes his way over to me and only leaves the smallest gap forcing me to look upwards at him.
