TANJIRO'S POV:

It's been a few months after Zenitsu's Gramps had sadly passed. Me and the others have been trying to help Zenitsu the best we can, and it's starting to work. I hope that things will turn brighter for them. Since Zenitsu and Kaigaku's grandfather passed, they should be making enough money so they could take care of themselves now. Of course me and my friends will visit there grandfathers grave with them, we don't wanna be rude. "Hey Aoi! Have you seen Zenitsu and Kaigaku anywhere?" Aoi looked up at me. "Hmmm, I saw them last with Inosuke." She said tilting her head. "Why do you ask?" I stood there sweating bullets. "W..well since Zenitsu has started to get over his grandfather's passing... I.." I stuttered scared to say. Aoi knew something was up and gripped onto my shoulders for support. "Tell me Tanjiro. I could help!" I stood there as my eyes widened at her words. "So.. I wanted to ask out Zenitsu, but I don't know for sure if it's the right thing to do.. am I going to fast!? Is he still not over his grandfather's death!? Will he think I'm weird for liking him!?" I started to get anxious as Aoi hugged me in an embrace. "Tanjiro, Zenitsu isn't that cruel to call you weird, he's extremely sensitive and could never hurt your heart. Also, he's been getting better after his grandfather's passing. And..." Aoi paused at the end as I tilted my head confused. "Anddd?" Aoi just looked and smiled brightly. "No worries! You'll do fine! Now go ask him out! He's on the rooftop with Inosuke and Kaigaku, I could drag them away so it can just be you two" I gulped for air as I nodded. We both walked to the rooftop together.

ZENITSU'S POV:

As I was laughing historically at Inosuke's jokes with Kaigaku standing near me rolling his eyes, I saw Tanjiro walking with Aoi. I thought nothing of it but for some reason my heart broke, what were they doing?.. as I stood there Inosuke was wondering why I dozed off, he snapped in front of me which woke me up to reality. "You good Monitsu?" As Inosuke said that Kaigaku turned to me with a confused expression. "Hey moron, you doing okay? You seem.. sad?" Kaigaku said tapping my shoulder for me to turn to his direction. "Eh? Oh, yes! I'm fine. I'm just really tired eheh!" I said as I rubbed the back of my neck sweating. They both knew something was up. "Monitsu tell us!!! I wanna know what's wrong because I know dam well you're not "tired". Kaigaku nodded. I sighed as my heart sanked when I pointed my fingers towards Tanjiro and Aoi. As Inosuke looked over he looked confused, but Kaigaku on the other hand knew exactly what. "Excuse us Inosuke." Kaigaku dragged me by the wrist as he took me out the roof top then pulled me into a room with just us. "What are you saying? Why were you pointing at Tanjiro and Aoi..?" I looked down and turned really red as I was trembling. "Hey.. it's okay, just tell me Zenitsu.. we're brothers." I looked up slowly as I took a dead breath. "I.. eh.. please don't tell anyone but.. I..... I like Tanjiro okay!?" I hid my face into my face as I was afraid Kaigaku would yell at me, but instead he grabbed my hands and put them down with a soft smile. "See? It wasn't that hard moron!" We both chuckled. As we were finishing talking we left the room but as we opened it I spotted Inosuke and Genya eavesdropping with their mouths opened wide. "MONITSU YOU LIKE MONJ-" I held my hand over Inosuke's mouth as I was shushing him.

Sorry if this seemed rush, yk about Kaigaku and Zenitsu's grandfathers dead. Ik it was fast they got over it but I had nothing else in mind so I just decided that there friends helped them get over it.
