"I hate you so bad" whined Alexa, laying on her seat.
"You said that already, many times" said Alexandra, sitting next to her.
"I didn't say it enough"
"Come on, it's not that bad is it?" Alexandra winced as she asked
"I had to wake up at 5, and I didn't get a coffee so yes, it is that bad. I blame you. You should've told me sooner" Alexa rambled, playing with her book's pages.
"If I had told you sooner, you would've freaked out and cancelled last minute leaving me alone in the lion's den!" Alexandra glared at her best friend, who puckered her lips.
"Well, you're not that wrong... But I wouldn't have forgotten my rings"
Alexandra nodded faintly. "Fair enough, I know you're obsessed with your rings"
Alexa glared at her before poking her fingers into Alexandra's sides, to which she squirmed.
"Stop that" Her best friend complained
"Then stop annoying me" Alexa laughed. Alexandra rolled her eyes up and put her headphone on, playing a film.
Alexa looked at the time. They would be landing in five hours.
The girl sighed before pulling out her laptop and launching her editing software.
Alexa was a famous content creator in France, going by the username Xelaa. She had over 1.90 million subscribers on YouTube, 3.4 million followers on Instagram and 1.2 followers on Twitch.
She started uploading vlogs when she was 17, and since then, she keeps innovating in her videos.
Alexa, over time, became one of the few female YouTubers mainstream, along with her friends Léna and Maghla. She worked very hard to get where she was, spending day and night in front of her screen to either edit her videos or plan videos.
Internet was her whole life, and she wouldn't have been able to live this life without it.
Now, she was on a plane to Bahrain with her best friend to meet Alex's situation ship / future boyfriend, who was a formula 1 driver.
Alexa was freaking out on the outside.
She didn't want to express her anxiety to her friend who was already stressed enough.
Alexa was about to meet one of her favourite drivers, to go around the paddock and to experience her first real Grand Prix. The very first of the season.
The young woman was a fan of Formula One since she could breathe. She had the honour to witness Michael Schumacher's wins along with Lewis Hamilton's.
The girl's a big fan.
And to think she might be able to meet one of F1's legend, she'd rather not think about it.
Alexa spent the whole flight working on her new video for YouTube and planning her Twitch livestreams for next week, while Alexandra had a nap after her film ended.
"Ladies and gentlemen, we are about to land in the Internation Airport of Bahrain. Please fasten your belts and turn off all your electronic devices. Make sure your tray table has been put away and your window shade is open." The steward announced through the airplane.
Alexa shook Alexandra to wake her up and tell her they're landing.
After an hour of going through the airport and security, Alexandra and Alexa enjoyed Bahrain's sun.
