You both reached the library. And swung open the doors to be greeted by Draco Malfoy. He looked directly at Hermione. He stared down at her as he walked by you both. Once he made it past you both you felt his hand graze against your back. You quickly turned your head to look at him.

"We need to talk, L/n."

You knew a different side of Draco. By any means, he wasn't a fluffy unicorn behind closed doors he was more like a declawed cat. Two years ago Draco got himself involved with some bad people and managed to get himself almost killed in the process. At the time he didn't know you at all. All he knew was that you were good at fixing broken bones and some deep cuts.

Earlier that year, second-year snuck into the kitchen as scared a mental elf. He got a few fingers broken and had a deep gash in his hand from a broken piece of glass. The kid's house was Slytherin so you got a good rep with them and rumors of your healing skills swirled around the houses. It made sense to the students as the tales became more outlandish. You are the most powerful student in your year.

You single-handedly took down a loose dragon in your first year. It was released by a 4th-year student who didn't want to participate in Care Of Magical Creatures class. Its wasn't a Hungarian Horntail or anything extremely dangerous. But it wasn't a small dragon it is the largest type of dragon to exist in the wizarding work and it was one of the less dangerous breeds. After that, you were viewed as a god among your classmates. As you got older you continued to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Building a bigger and bigger resume for yourself and Inevitably, giving students more reasons to come to you when they needed firepower or in this case, healer.

You saw Draco at his weakest in that moment. He sent out one of his ghouls to go find you. Next thing you knew you were in the Slytherin boy's dormitory. It was the first time you had been in the Slytherin's house. Other than for a party.

He was in critical condition and you weren't sure if you could heal him. Trying your best, you used what you knew and used some muggle ways for things you were unsure of how to fix. Eventually, you had one of his henchmen go to the library in search of a healing book to properly clear out the poison from his wounds. You didn't know how to do that in the magic world or the muggle world. It took you all night to figure it out. At that moment Draco realized muggles weren't all bad. However, you weren't a normal muggle. You were a direct descendant of Ms.L/n.Who was the most powerful witch of her time and the only witch known to have defeated Dumbledore during  his prime.

"You are close with Draco?"

"Somewhat, yes." You responded in a questionable tone.

"Wow."

"Wow, what?"

"You really do know everybody."

You both laughed as you headed into the library. You searched each other's sections hoping to help the other find their book. After a long search and a lengthy conversation about SPEW you both found your books and could head to lunch.

As you headed out the library doors Hermione finally reached the subject of what you saw while spying on Harry.

"(Y/n)"

"Yes?"

"You never told me what Harry was doing."

You never asked."

"Well I'm asking now." She snapped back at you.

"He lost something and was looking for it."

Hermione looked at you puzzled "What was it?"

"A map. But he never found it."

Her eyes widened with realization as she heard you say 'map.' She has to know something about this map, maybe she knows who he was talking about. The person who vanished.

"Has he seemed fixated to someone?" You questioned.

"Yes, he has. Draco Malfoy. He is convince he is a death eater."

You had forgotten about the twins stupid map they had when you were young. They carried it with them everywhere. It was as important as their wands to them. It took you a few months to find out how they knew where you were all the time. It was driving you mad.

Hermione continued "We-We saw some suspisous things inside borgan and burks but nothing solid enough to bring to Dumbledore. Harry has been stalking Draco with that map and keeps saying he is disappearing. The thing is old and was made by students its not going to be accurate constantly." He shook her head in a worried manner.

You didn't tell her about his breakdown. You rather spare her from that, Hermione wouldn't take it well and become even more concerned for Harry.
