Avinaash's POV:
I looked upwards at the morning sky. There were clouds floating on it. The birds which flew on the sky looked so carefree, so free from all the toxic traits and negative sides of this world.
This sky depicts my life so perfectly now. The eye-soothing blue colour depicted the outer cover of my life after looking at what people think, living the life of an extremely successful businessman is so pleasurable. So jolly, so perfect. The birds seemed to be the joy and happiness in the outer cover of my life.
But if an extremely wise person tries to look at this blue heaven carefully,his/her mind will also remind him/her that this is not exactly what this heaven looks like. It's actually dark.
Space is filled with darkness. Where millions and billions of stars and planets are getting destroyed. All these destructions must cause the universe so much pain. Why is it so beautiful and calm then? Why is the sky not showing its pain? Of course, because it is not allowed to panic and give others anxiety. Just like my situation now in real life.
And in our dark Solar System; just like the Sun gives us light; Rudrani used to give me light. She still gives me light. She is the bright star in my darkness. But she won't be the same after today. After getting the invitation for my Reception, she won't be my Sun anymore. And I will again become that lifeless body. Everything will be the same. That was me. Without happiness.
I deserve no happiness.
*Flashback starts*
Age: 5 years old
I stood in front of that big building. My grip on my mother's index finger tightened and my vision got blurred with tears.
My mom told me that the name of this building is school. She said that there will be many kids just like me here. I will get to make many friends and there will be elders like my mom too to teach us.
Will they scold me? I asked her when she was trying to convince me to go to school last night.
She said they will just guide us and will never be very strict with us.
Now, we are walking inside the big building past the big memorial just in front of the main gate. We entered one of those six big buildings in front of us.
She took me into one of the rooms in the big hall and called one lady. They had a small conversation and the lady looked at me and nodded at my mom with a small smile.
My mom waved me a tata and left from there. My eyes became teary and a small sob escaped my lips as I was trying to comprehend the fact that she left me alone.
