Avinaash's POV:
“Vivaah sampurna huya.” the pandit announced and I looked at the holy fire in front of us.
(The marriage is completed.)
The flames from the Agnikund were going high up in the air burning all my dreams, wishes, desires and emotions. Someone just sang Chitta Kukkad bane re te here and all those lines reminded me of her.
Someone patted on my shoulders which broke my chains of thoughts and looked over my shoulder only to see my Newly-Wedded Wife’s Father. He told me to get up and also the person beside me to get up too.
Her face was covered with a long red veil. I could not see her face through it but somehow I could feel that she is gorgeous. But not more than her. I have heard that her name is Kashvi and she is a music student.
Her warm brown hands which were inked with red Mehendi which reached till her arms, had thick bangles on it. A water droplet fell on her wrist followed by two others. She got up from the stool, while her knees were continuously shaking and her hands trembling.
We went towards my mom and dad who were standing there as a perfect couple, which hardly they are, came forwards and hugged both of us. We touched their feets to take blessings and they both kissed our foreheads.
We moved towards her parents and touched their feet too. She hugged her mother and cried hysterically. They both separated after a good five minutes and moved towards another lady standing just beside her mother, who was probably her sister. They both hugged each other and cried more.
She looked around as if she was searching for someone but tilted her head low and I understood she didn't find the one she was looking for. As I was looking around, someone came and stood in front of me. I looked at her direction only to see that lady standing in front of me with a smirk on her face
“Namaste jija jii.” she said, that irritating smirk still hanging on her lips.
(Hello brother-in-law)
“Hello.” I replied as I was least interested in continuing any conversation with them.
I mean they ruined my life, they snatched my love from me and now they expect me to talk with them as if nothing happened and they are completely innocent?!
“ Ap humari didi ko vida karke le jayege. Yeh Aapko pata hai n?” that stupid lady asked.
(You will take Sister with you. You know that right?)
“Hmm.” Ofcourse I know. I am not a donkey like them.
“To kaan khol ke sunno, mere jiji ko apke ghar rona para n to mai apke C0ck ko kat dalugi mein.” she spat, making my eyes widen. How dare she talk to me in that tone and How dare she use such language in front of me?
(So listen with your ears wide open,my sister is not allowed to cry in your house, otherwise I will cut off your c0ck).
The fucking audacity this bitch has!
I tried to act calm and composed which I hardly was. Rudrani's memories were blurring the harsh reality in front of my eyes and this unknown bitch's words were adding fuel to my anger.
“And Miss.Unknown Bitch, listen very carefully, if your sister tries to ever mess with me and step in my own fucking personal business then I will burn your entire family along with all of your stupid irritating relatives and cousins, and I will make sure that no one remembers The Great Rajvanshi-s in this blue planet.” I said, my voice calm, venom dripping down my voice, my low and deep voice indicating the firmness behind each and every word.
She gave me an angry glare in return and went away. I don't know where she went because I didn't find it necessary to care about her whereabouts that much. She is just a random attention seeking bitch probably I meet regularly. The only difference is they try to force their bodies on me and she tried to force her right of being my Sister-in-law on me.
I moved my head towards the drama of a so-called Vidaai. After a long period of entertainment when finally the drama of one hour was over and everyone was done crying, clinging to that woman in bridal makeup who is my wife according to everyone, her father came in front of me with her in his arms.
Her hands clutching the kurta of Mr. Rajvanshi, her cheeks red and fluffy, her trembling fingers, her shaking knees, her uncomfortable body gestures were continuously proving that she was not comfortable in her father's embrace. I mean, it seemed like she was feeling immense rage against her father and just wanted to separate from his hold but the ultimate solace which a daughter finds in her father's embrace was not letting her do that.
As they reached near our car, I found myself forwarding my hands towards her. She looked at me for a while and kept her cold hands upon mine. Oh My God! Her hands are so cold. She must be very nervous. I opened the car door for her just like a perfect gentleman, which I am not, to get up.
Before getting up in the car she looked behind towards her family for the last time. It was as if she was not only just looking at her family but at something else. Her eyes became teary but she didn't let those water droplets fall. She kept looking towards the big mansion.
It felt like she was leaving a part of herself in this house and she was bidding goodbye and wishing best of luck to that part. It felt like she was looking back at her childhood, her small-self, a girl with a small teddy in her hands who was also looking at her, tears in her eyes too. She looked back at every corner of this building which probably held each and every memory of her childhood and then finally got up in the car.
I got up in the car too and the driver inserted the key in the key hole to start the car. It drove off the Rajvanshi mansion and took the road which will take us to Vansh Mansion. There was a utter silence in the car. None of us spoke anything. And honesty I liked it. I don't want to interact with any other woman except Rudrani and it satisfied me to my core that atleast this woman is not forcing me to talk with her.
We reached Vansh and got out of the car. We went to the front door together and saw mom standing there with a big plate with stuffs like coconut, flowers, diyas in it. I rolled my eyes after seeing everyone smiling and teasing us while she just kept her head hung low, the long veil covering her head.
But do I care? Absolutely fucking not!
The only thing I care about now is apology from Rudrani for this wedding which I have to seek tonight.
Fuck my wedding night with this unknown woman!
**************
And here comes the chapter. *sighs* I know I didn't post for weeks but I can explain.
In previous chapter, I mentioned about ome of our relative who was sick. And guess what? He died.
He was one of the best person and I swear he was so good.
Whatever, it's human life and pain is a part of it. But, I was extremely sad that's why I could not write the chapter.
Sorry again!
