Kaden’s pov

When she got angry it was actually really hot. I chuckle thinking about when she said she wanted to go back. It took me years to find her and she thinks I was just going to let her go back. No chance in hell. She did not know how important she was to me. If I had to spent an eternity making her fall for me then so be it. It was the least I could do after years of waiting.

Getting out I wrapped myself in a towel and walked out. I saw her sitting near the window looking out. Fuck I could get used to this everyday. She sensed me and turned to look at me and then my bare chest. She clenched her thighs and looked away but I could smell her sweet arousal.

I just smirked and walked towards my closet. “Where is my armour and my mother’s sword?” She asked. “All of your armour is in here, I also asked someone to send your stuff from upstairs, your friend said it will arrive shortly.” I said and she nodded. “Do you have some place where I can train..I am a worrior and need to practice daily” I cringe at the thought of her setting foot in the battle field ever again. “You do not need to train from now on it is my job to protect you now, I cannot put you in danger”.

She got up to face me “I do not care who you are, I can protect myself.. so can you just answer the question and leave me be” she said with her face turning red again.
“First of all I am not leaving you we are having breakfast now and second I will only let you train if you can beat me in a fight “ I say with a smirk ..she looked at me with shock which turned into confidence “I accept but first I need to get dressed” she said walking towards the shower.

I exist the room and go towards the dining area. One of my demons comes with a cup of blood and gives it to me. I take a sip and sigh with content..I wonder how her blood would taste. Angel blood was sweet with a little bit of gold in it. It was pure only some royals from the underworld had the privilege to taste it, I couldn’t wait for my turn.

I call my slave and sent a message for my best friend Alpha Liam to meet me today.

I had to tell him about my mate. He and I trained from a younger age, our kingdoms were the only ones that did not have any problems and I intend to keep it that way. Soon I would have to present my mate to the council and I just hope that the dark witches did not have a problem. But who was I kidding, those bitches had a problem with everything that was not in their kingdom. My head turned towards the door, I could smell my beautiful mates sent lavender and gold mixed with my musk. I loved it..looks like she used my soap. She walked in and took a set, she was wearing a dark blue gown which showed off her breasts and curves well.

Amara’s PoV

After out little talk I went for a shower. I thought about how I was going to beat Kaden since he challenged me. I guess I would really have to train hard to win. Getting out I walked towards our closet and saw that one side was filled with different clothes and fancy dresses. I decided to pick the least revealing dress which was dark blue. But it still showed a good amount of chest. I couldn’t wait for  my stuff to come here, I hope they sends my paints and comfortable clothes. I walk out and wandered for a couple of minutes in the vast castle before finding him sitting at long table with a chalice in him hand.

I take a seat 2 chairs away from him and he smirks before looking at me head to toe and stopping at my chest then face. I just roll my eyes and began to eat.

He just stared, watching my every move, it was annoying plus now I was in and unfamiliar place so I always had to be alert because the creatures living here were dangerous. Not that I had seen any here I think it was only us here.

Just as I was about to put my knife down after my last bite I heard foot steps and quickly pushed the chair and reviled my wings. I couldn’t get into a fighting stance with the dress so I quickly slit it from the side being aware that I cut myself a little and got ready to attack. I saw a petit female demon walk up.

“Your highness I have sent the message to Alpha...” her attention shifted to me and she stopped talking. Kaden laughed from behind “That’s all you may leave” she nodded and walked away. I relaxed and stood straight.

I could sense that he was walking towards me. He moved the chair and pinned me against the table. “You are safe here my demons can’t harm you ..and if they do well lets just say it won’t be pretty“.

I felt his hand trail down towards the knife and put it on the table “You are so hot when you do stuff like this, its a fucking turn on” I just looked at him not being able to say a word. His hand held my waist tight and the other went towards the slit I make and touched the small cut, I flinched.He brought his finger towards his lip and licked off the little blood on it.

He mourned and closed his eyes before gaining control again. Just as I thought he was done he moved his hand and touched my wings. I sigh and bit my lip to stop the mourn. Wings were really sensitive and being touched by your mate was something else. “I cant wait to have you one day” He said and was gone in a flash.
