∘°∘𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪∘°∘ essence felt her phone vibrate on her pillow, and she groaned in annoyance before lifting it to read the name tyler across her screen she raised her eyebrow confused, before remembering she gave him her number last friday.
"hello?" she whispered her voice raspy as she woke up. she squinted her eyes at the brightness of tyler's screen, as the boy set up his phone to face him as he stood in front of his bathroom sink smiling with a rag to his face.
"hey, mamas. whatchu, doing?" he asked triggering essence to snap. "don't call me wit that shit, it's too early and you see my ass laying up in this damn bed t—" the girl stops herself mid-sentence realizing how rude she got.
"myb I ain't mean to go off like that I just ain't no morning person," she whispers into the phone embarrassedly as she sits up and turns on her bedside lamp, keeping her eyes closed for a moment before slowly opening them to adapt to the brightness.
"no that was cute, pretty" he says cockily with a chuckle as he starts to wash his face. "i just can't with you sometimes." Cece chuckles and she gets out of bed, feeling a bit more woke hearing Tyler's laugh.
