6. Who is behind all this?

Jinyeong came into Seongjun's office. "CEO, Lawyer Lee gave me this about the history of Dongsung Group," he said. Jinyeong handed Seongjun the documents. Seongjun's mobile phone rings. It was Hyeyeong. "Hi honey," he said. "Who is behind all this?" Hyeyeong asked. "Honey, your brother has given a further investigation. Call me back later. Okay, I love you too. Bye," he said. "The CEO of Dongsung Group is Chairman Jang's son who is married to Vice Chairman's daughter," said Jinyeong. Seongjun flipped through the documents. 

It read: Since late 90s, Dongsung Group raked money out through charity into their private bank account due to financial troubles. 

"Have you been in contact with any police investigation, Vice President Kim?" Seongjun asked. "Yes, President Choi. Dongsung Group is investigated by the police," said Jinyeong. Seongjun looked at the business card that has Lawyer Lee's contact details. The phone rings, he picked it up. "Hello?" Seongjun said. "President Choi, is it a good time to talk?" Lawyer Lee asked. "Yes, go ahead," said Seongjun. "Dongsung Group is currently under a police investigation. We may need to be present in the court. The trial will be in 2 months later," he said. "Yes, very well then," said Seongjun. After that, he scanned through the papers. 

After he got home, he had dinner with Hyeyeong and Minkyeong. "Yeobo, who is behind all this?" Hyeyeong asked. "It's the CEO and his wife from Dongsung Group are all behind this," he said. Seongjun handed her the papers. Hyeyeong carefully looked at them one by one. She then became shocked to see their names. "Honey, you look like you're going to pass out. Are you okay?" Seongjun. "It's Kang Jisun and her husband," she said, as she passed out. Seongjun catched her in his arms. 

Hyeyeong's P.O.V

I can't believe it. My old enemy Kang Jisun is behind all this with her husband, Jang Junseok. Jisun's true nature was revealed ever since I was in college. My parents thought she was nice but Jisun is actually cold hearted, mean, selfish, power hungry and unpredictable. All she does she just used me as a scapegoat to guilt trip me along with Seojin, who I thought she was a friend to me but then I got betrayed when she became Jisun's minion. We used to be in contact ever since we first met at the youth expo. But I changed my home phone number back then before I started using mobile phones to end the feud between us. I'm glad they were not invited to my wedding from 2 years ago.
