Shinyu is a man with pride. He takes pride in being the class president, for being smart, and for his good appearance. He knew everyone liked him, and if not, he didn't really care. But not anymore after the fight he had with Sooji.

He was completely offended by the way Sooji reacted and how she pulled his hair in which he spent hours just to get everything in place. He was more mad at his ruined hair than at what Sooji was blurting out, that's why he pulled her hair too.

Shinyu knew it was a childish act, but no matter what he does, as long as Sooji's annoyed with his presence, he feels this sort of satisfaction he's never felt before. He didn't know this kind of satisfaction despite being an overachiever for years.

"Can you stop staring at her? It's getting weird." Jihoon mumbled as he munched on his sandwich. Shinyu turned at him and raised his brow. "Why is it weird?"

"You're staring at her for two minutes. Everyone's gonna think you're weird. And please, just date her if you like he-" Shinyu slammed the book he was reading on the table and glared at Jihoon. Kyungmin was startled by the sudden act and almost choked on his drink.

"I don't like her." He scoffed. "I can't even imagine being near her. Disgusts me." Jihoon and Kyungmin both found each other's eye and then shrugged. Dohoon just rolled his eyes and continued eating, while Hanjin didn't pay any attention to them.

Shinyu then again glanced towards Sooji and her friend. When her friend noticed him and Sooji turned around, a smirk crept on his lips. He perfectly knows how to annoy Sooji. His presence is enough to boil her blood.

"Pfft." Jihoon suppressed his laugh while his other friends didn't even hide their humorous laugh the moment Sooji gave him a middle finger.

"What a sight." Jihoon shook his head and tapped Shinyu's shoulder, as if comforting him to his defeat. Shinyu gritted his teeth but said nothing more, he knew well that Sooji's annoyed as him right now.

When afternoon came, Shinyu didn't expect that he would be seeing Sooji's class. He smiled secretly after knowing he might get his revenge during the game, and he's not wrong.

He found perfect timing and completely hit Sooji on the forehead, leaving her on the ground. Everyone gathers around her after. "You are completely out of it. Are you insane?" Hanjin tried to snap his friend out of it, but it seems like the game just started between the two.

Everyone turned their heads towards Shinyu when Sooji cursed, and everyone stepped out near Sooji and Shinyu.

Sooji's head is completely throbbing but that doesn't mean she can't aim for Shinyu's head too. A whistle rang through their ears which indicated the end of the first round. They have to switch positions for the second round, with Class A in between Class B.

The game started out peaceful. But the stare between Shinyu and Sooji is somewhat terrifying.

"She's really, really scary." Kyungmin whispered to Shinyu's from behind and quickly disappeared.

When Sooji got the ball, she quickly aimed in Shinyu's direction, putting in more strength than she intended. Unfortunately, Shinyu is too fast to dodge the ball. Everyone held their breaths as they watched them.

Shinyu gave her a wink and jogged on the right side. Sooji's eyes didn't leave him. She's more competitive than ever. Seeing Shinyu in the same position she was in earlier is what she only wants.

"Sooji, lighten your throws. You can hurt someone if you throw it too hard. And Shinyu, please stop provoking the other team." Some of his classmates laughed at the last statement of their teacher.

"Give it to Sooji." Jeun whispered to one of their classmates who's currently holding the ball and immediately gave the ball to Sooji. While all of them are completely aware that the two of them will do everything to knock down each other, they don't have any choice but to just watch.

It's time for Sooji to smirk. Shinyu shrugged his shoulders and tapped his feet on the ground repeatedly, as if he's getting bored and just waiting for Sooji to throw the ball at him.

Sooji raises her hand and everyone shuts their eyes, afraid that they would witness a murder in that moment. Shinyu immediately dodged without looking, however, Sooji was just faking to throw the ball. Her real throw is when Shinyu realises he's been completely fooled.

Shinyu fell to the ground, holding his nose. "Dude!" Jihoon shouted and immediately ran to aid his friend.

"He's still breathing!" There's a relief hanging in the air as they move forward to Shinyu. "Oh my God! His nose is bleeding!" Sooji clasped her hands. "What a good game!"

She's about to turn her head when a hand stops her. "Sooji," a firm tone suddenly made her freeze.

She completely forgot that their teacher is currently watching their game, and by just reading their PE teacher's face, she knew she fucked up.
