Munehiro from Hyotei suddenly called Shūichirō, requesting a practice match for that evening. Surprisingly, Keigo specifically requested Kunimitsu's presence despite being informed of his shoulder condition. This, of course, enraged his teammates, questioning how far Keigo was willing to push Kunimitsu.

Keigo would go to lengths to get what he wanted, but knowing his character, he was certain he wouldn't do such. If he did, Kunimitsu could only have one possibility crossing his mind and he hoped it wasn't true.

When he and his teammates arrived at Hyotei's tennis court, it was evident that Keigo was deeply troubled, as he rested his face on his knuckle with a deep frown. Uncharacteristically, he wasn't wearing his jacket like the regulars, as they normally took it off only if they had a match.

"Yo, Tezuka."

"Thank you for your practice invitation. Please take care of us," Kunimitsu formally said with a bow.

"Same here," Keigo rose to reciprocate the bow.

"So, how are we going to decide the lineup?" Shūichirō asked.

"No need for that. We're having one single match today," Keigo flatly replied.

"Huh?! What do you mean by that?!" Takeshi shouted.

"There's one player who specifically requested a match against Tezuka."

"With Buchō's injury?! That's low, Atobe! What kind of dirty game are you pulling right now?!" Kaoru snarled.

"Can't you pick someone other than Tezuka nya? This is unfair!"

"No. Tezuka only." Keigo sighed, rolling his eyes.

"Then why can't you stop him?!" Takashi protested.

"Unfortunately, it's beyond my territory this time..." Keigo sighed, signalling his teammates to part and reveal someone Kunimitsu recognized instantly. The person wore an oversized Hyotei regular jacket, reaching their thighs, and a blue cap unmistakably belonging to Hyotei's Shishido Ryō.
