Hello! thank you so, so much for reading my little addition to the twilight universe ♡♡
It truly means the world to me that you're giving this a little read and I really hope you enjoy it as much as I loved writing it

Originally, each chapter had around 5,000 - 6,000 words, but most of the twilight fanfictions on here have shorter sections, so I've split them up so there are more chapters with a lower word count. I hope that's okay!

Here is just a little list of some things that I've altered/changed from the canon twilight series (just to help with any confusion ♡)

- the ages of the Cullens ♡: considering that Esme and Carlisle have 6 children, I've made them older than they are canonically because no 23 year old could handle a family like this (I'm looking at you Emmett), so instead, Carlisle is 34, and Esme is 31! Additionally, to make things less...creepy, Edward is eternally 19 and Bella moves to forks at 18, instead of 17. Edward is 19 so that they can date for a few years before settling down for good (as Bella will be 21 when they get married), which leads on to the next change:

- Edward and Bella's length of relationship ♡: the entire twilight series happens within less than two years, and Ed and Bells are married and have regurgitation within a year. I've just changed this slightly so that they are together for a lot longer than that before getting married ♡ they don't get engaged until a few years after graduation, Bells and Eddie go to a college in forks for a couple years instead, and then they get married. This isn't really crucial to the storyline, but it will come up :)

- the general timeline ♡: a lot of things that occurred in the first book are now stretched over a longer period of time, eg, the Cullens spent more time with Bella, weeks and months before the eventful baseball game. This just makes this feel a bit more solid for me :)

- some of the not-so-good things from their relationship ♡: essentially, Edward is not a stalker this time (no Edward I do not care that she is pretty and that you are poetically damned for eternity you can NOT sneak into a girl's bedroom and watch her sleep or follow her without her knowing) (?!?) and Bella no longer pushes to have sex with Ed and also doesn't push to become a vampire (in this version, Bella is more hesitant, doesn't rush into it and takes a long time to consider everything. She doesn't become a vampire until she is an actual adult- this also means that Rosalie and Bella are friends in my version)
And Bella also maintains healthy relationships outside of Edward, specifically with Angela Weber and a few others. (If you've read Midnight sun, you'll understand why we allow Jessica Stanley slander in this house and why Angela is a precious little lamb)

- Ronaldo Messi & Jacob ♡: okay, so I have changed the whole imprinting on the newborn baby. Jacob doesn't imprint on her (but he will imprint on someone else so that he gets a happy ending) and instead there will be different reasons as to why the wolf pack doesn't kill Ratatouille :)

- Ratatouille in general ♡: I'm not going to say too much as this will get explained in detail later on, but basically Regurgitate isn't born with a fully developed adult human brain and doesn't grow at the crazily accelerated pace. She is still a vampire-human hybrid, but Bella's pregnancy is not 2 weeks and instead 8 months, and Reykjavik grows at a normal human rate. So the whole "immortal child" thing with the Volturi happens 8 years after she is born. Don't worry, there are full explanations, reasonings and great detail about this later on!

- the whole love triangle thing ♡: this will be controversial and that's okay, if you are team Jacob, that's perfectly okay as he will still be playing a major role in this story line (esp new moon parts ♡) I just don't like the way S.Meyer wrote Jacob in eclipse as he became nasty when previously he was just a sweet boy who cared for Bella, so his character will stay as he was in new moon :)

- the wolf pack & the tribe ♡: for this point, essentially everything that S.Meyer wrote about the wolf pack, their tribe, their legends etc will stay the same but as Quilette is a real culture and tribe, I've changed the name to a similar but completely fictional one as to not disrespect this culture and heritage. This is just because S.Meyer's decision to take a real tribe and fictionalise it has made a lot of people feel disrespected and uncomfortable- I just want to be as considerate as possible, so there is just a slight change there. I hope you understand :)

- details about vampires ♡: these are some very minor adjustments that I felt would just improve my story slightly and the general vampire species: when they are in sunlight, their skin becomes transparent so all their veins, venom, bones, organs etc become visible, they still glitter slightly but I feel that this just adds a little more edge to them. They can sleep, but only for short periods of time. It's not necessary for them, but it's more comfortable if they do (same as their breathing really.) It's easier for them to get injured- it's still difficult, but far more likely, and when they do get injured, they heal the same as the werewolves :)

I think that's everything ! I will probably add to this as the story progresses and things change.
