(part 11) Lil Kitty

I stopped and stood still as I felt someone's presence behind me . Before I could react , warm breath hits my ears . My breathing stopped and my heartbeat increased.

"Thank you lil kitty" a deep voice reached my ears . It was him . It was Apurv . I didn't need to turn back in order to recognize him . His smell and voice are ust too familiar for me.

Wait , did this Iffial tower just call me kitty how dare he.

I felt the presence behind me gone . After a few seconds when I had the courage to look back I saw Apurv walking in the other direction. 

He stopped . Did he just feel my gaze or something?

His head turned and he passed me a genuine smile . It was not like his other smirks or mocking smile . It was his original smile the one that might have just melted my heart for this self obsessed idotic jerk. 

I was speechless . I just looked at him as he continued to walk away till his figure disappeared in the night .

Idk for how long I stood there but it felt a bit bad...too see him walk away...

I didn't even realise that my hand was on my chest now . Feeling my raced heartbeat for him. I moved my fingers to my cheeks only to find them hot .

Fuck was I blushing. The hell is happening. No no no Arushi get control on yourself .

Then I realized it was freaking night . Hell na man if the warden saw me I might not survive tommorow. 

I ran as fast as I can though I knew my cheeks were red and my heartbeat was fast .

I reached my hostel and ran up the stairs .

Entering my room I locked the door while panting.  I was standing against the door and then I sat there with all the moments replaying in my head . From him raising my temper to him rasing my heartbeat.

My breathing was uneven as I sat there for few minutes trying to process what happened .

After some time I stood back up and saw my face in mirror I was damn red on my cheeks . Embarrassment crawled up my spine and I climbed up my bed to scream in my pillow .

He actually called me Lil kitty

Control Arushi control . It's just because your ear is your sensitive spot nothing else . I kept myself reminding this and didn't realise that I was slowly drifting off to sleep.

Next day

"Are bhai tune Julius Caesar ke Act 2 je scene 2 ka question answer nhi likha- " Arushi said while holding Tanya's English 2 workbook in her hand .

"Are uncle side hato" Tanya shouted trying to take her scooty out of traffic .

They both were on there way to school . While Tanya was driving scooty Arushi on the other hand was busy reading  coz yesterday she ended up sleeping early without actually studying anything. The the reason why it happened ... you guys know right.

At School

Arushi's pov

"Fuck it" I spoke as me and Tanya made our way to our classrooms. We surely were late .. and that too on the exam day .

"Could this day can any better " Tanya spoke with sarcasm. I know she is mad at me for waking up late again but hey that wasn't my fault right it was his fault. His! You know what I mean to say , don't you?
