(part 13) Tired & Sleep deprived

'What is the function of smooth ER , How is it different from rough ER?' I blankly stared at the last question as if they were asking for my property .

I looked around my desk to see what situations were the other students in .

Most of them had finished there paper and were practically sleeping . I mean I don't blame them for that I myself was about to doze off like 3 or 4 times .

'It's just the last paper' I assured myself . I'm literally like a half dead zombie , well can't expect much more with a person that had just 3 hours of sleep.

Akshat seemed chill like he'd ace his exams. Well as much as I know he's just always like this because his score doesn't matter to him as much as his performance in football does.

I was moving my gaze from one student to other . That's when my sight stopped on him , Apruv . He was tensed while holding his head and it was cleary evident that he didn't slept much either. Even if he'd say he did , his dark circles spoke otherwise.

Suddenly it hit me .. 'ribosomes' the answer came in my concious mind . I copied it down as fast as I could . Yess finally . I looked at Apurv again and this time it seemed like he was finished with his paper .

The bell rang and Miss Maya left after collecting our papers. The noise started and our classroom transformed into a world wide fish market network.

As soon as she left I was drooling off to sleep while putting my head down . Fuck we have 8 more periods to study and I was already exhausted asf.

"Kesa gye exams" a voice came from beside me . Ik it was Akshat. With the little energy I had , I lifted my head and went silent for few seconds. This exam had totally deprived me from anything else rather than studying.

"Ache" the only word that left my mouth .

"So. You remember right?" He asked . Wait what was he asking about?

"Kya?" I asked being genuinely confused. At this moment I was staring at his face . He didn't have any dark circles but was online on insta till 2 am . Meanwhile my face probabky looked like a dead racoon . No harm meant to racoons though , they are cute . I meant my dark circles .

"Mene pick up kia tah na thumhe us din , uski ice cream treat" He said with puppy eyes . Can't he see the fact I was about to sleep any minute right now

I thought for a while . I was damn exhausted and all I just wanted was to sleep . I should have canceled the plan but I didn't. Don't ask me why but I think it's just a treat right , besides how long would it take to feed this big puppy an ice cream .

"Alright , so after school?" I asked

"After school" he said while nodding .

Our teacher then entered our class .

My luck was so fucking bad that the 1st period was history . I mean why now . I can literally bet that I'm gonna doze off any minute .

"Students may I have your attention please" the teacher claped her hand twice indicating that it was time for all of us shut up .

"We have a new student here " the announced with a smile .

I wonder why did the new student decided to arrive after UT . They could have just came before the tests well leave it , I was pretty curious to know who was it .

A tall girl about 5'5 feet in height entered from the front door . Her hair was braided and it reached till her waist . Her hair slighty brown and wavy in texture . She had a button nose and siren eyes . I'm pretty sure she's sporty , but she seemed familiar like I've seen her eyes somewhere and she looked like someone .
