It had been a few days and Jisung had gotten better, having Minho with him to help him take care of himself was a plus.

Unfortunately, during those days Minho's door was fixed and the two boys were currently facing each other at Jisung's doorstep, neither of them speaking.

Jisung knew he'd miss his all-day company but as for Minho, he didn't know why he felt the way he did. He'd finally be able to do something freely without the fear of getting caught. Yet.. he felt a wave of sadness hit him when the words left his mouth, "I'm going now.. Thanks for letting me stay, Han."

"Please don't use my surname, hyung, it makes me feel we're not friends anymore." he chuckled sadly and the older boy nodded, "Okay then. Bye Jisung."

He was about to turn around when a gentle tug on his jacket stopped him, "Will you keep coming here? Even for an hour or something..?" he stared in Jisung's eyes who had a little hope in them and even though he seemed hesitant, Minho hummed in agreement "Mhm."

Jisung also nodded as a response and let go of the boy who waved at him as final bye, "Bye, hyung." he mumbled and watched as Minho walked away towards his house.

Once Minho got in his house, Jisung also got back in and closed the door behind him with a heavy sigh. What was he supposed to do now?

Chan and Changbin were busy today so they couldn't hang out. Damn, he really needed to get a job cause he was living with his parents' money so far. Then his mind went back to Minho.. Was he working anywhere? And if so then where?

He didn't know but he also didn't want to ask.

He checked the money on his card through the app on his phone to see if they were enough to get his monthly supplies and sighed before getting ready to go to the supermarket.

Just as he opened to door, his eyebrows raised in surprise when he saw Minho standing in front of him, "Oh, hyung. Did you need something? I was about to go shopping."

"Can I come with you? If it's okay..?" Minho averted his eyes, speaking quietly as if he was ashamed to ask such thing. Jisung smiled softly and once again reached up to pat the older's head but quickly played it out, making it seem like he fixed his own hair.

He reminded himself that Minho wasn't a touchy person.

"Of course. Come on, I'll drive us there." the younger closed the door and locked it, heading to his parked car but stopped once he noticed Minho wasn't by his side when he unlocked the car.

Turning around, he got worried when the boy's expression showed signs of nervousness, "Minho hyung?"

Said boy met Jisung's eyes and he swallowed before asking, "Is it too far to go by foot?"

'Is he scared of cars or something?' Han thought to himself and shook his head "Not really, if you like walking that is." he chuckled and locked the car again, hiding his keys on his jacket's pocket. "We could walk there if you want."

'Maybe he had an accident when he was younger..'

For others, the only problem with going by foot to buy stuff was carrying them on the way back. But Jisung's time in the gym with Chan and Changbin paid off since he could carry heavy things without much pressure.

Minho mentally relaxed and nodded his head, "Sorry if that's a problem." he caught up to Jisung and they started making their way to the market. The slightly taller male shrugged, "No problem at all, I'll lose some calories too, heh." he joked and looked at the other who just pressed his lips into a line.

'Closest thing to a smile.' he smiled to himself, happy to at least get that as a reaction.

Minho was quiet during their way there, Jisung doing most of the talking. He would rant about his former school, saying how one of his teachers would favourite a specific student even though there were much more hardworking people than them.

Minho would nod, hum and give him signs that he was listening without interrupting him. Something Jisung appreciated because he hated being interrupted mid-sentenced.

Minho learned a few things about Jisung during that time. Like how Jisung would gossip about someone but then regret it and turn it into a joke so he doesn't feel bad, how he'd endlessly rant about something that bothers him until he's done.

And then the little things, like how when they'd cross a road or walk on the sidewalk he'd change sides so he's on the outer side of it. That moment he knew Jisung was raised right because he had seen his father do it and his aunt had also taught him that.

It was a kind of way to show protection for your loved one.

"We're here!" the familiar voice of his new friend made him look at him and follow after him into the store.

It took them almost an hour to finish their shopping, Minho also got a few necessary things like food supplies etc.

He also had to listen to a pissed Jisung on their way back who almost fought with the cashier because she didn't count his coupon and thought he was scamming her.

"Why the hell would I even scam her? As if I got nothing better to do so I'm like 'Hmm, let's see what I'll do today.. Right! Let's go create some trouble at the supermarket because it's soo fun' Ugh! What an ass!"

He pouted and readjusted his hold on the plastic bags, huffing, "Made a whole ass scene in front of everyone.. News flash! Some of us have social anxiety and don't like all the attention on us."

Minho tilted his head, speaking up for the first time after a while "But you did answer back.. Doesn't that count as getting attention?" he genuinely questioned to which Jisung replied, "Well yeah, but that was after she had already brought said attention on us then why wouldn't I fight for what's fair? I was right!"

Minho didn't need to hear anything else because Jisung was indeed right, to him at least.

Soon enough they reached their neighbourhood and Jisung offered to help Minho with his stuff but the older politely rejected him. But since he could see the disappointment in his face, he reassured him that if he needed anything he'd tell him.

They said their byes and each got into their houses.

Minho kicked off his shoes and sighed, lazily walking towards his kitchen to place the supplies in the fridge, drawers..

Until he had to go to the bathroom to settle the items there to finish and was met with an unfortunate sight.

His own dried blood was still there.
