a younger version of izuku.

knees up to his chest, sobbing into his knees.

judging by his clothes, it was the middle school version.

the most insecure version of izuku.

you reached out and placed a hand on his shoulder, he flinched and looked up with his eyes screwed tight and tears fell down his face. he was mumbling not to be hurt.

"izu." you touched his face gently, his eyes opened to see your face. "(y/n)? you can't be here." you looked at him as you sat on the floor next to the bath tub.

"what happened, izuku? why are you trapped away?"

"he locked me away, he is the opposite of me. please believe me."

"you need help, izu."

"i need...help?"

"yes. you need to push him out."

"i can't have help."

"yes, and you need some." you got his hand and helped him out of the bath, leading him back to the room. "it's your own room, izuku. don't let him change that. your letting your emotions get in the way, your not thinking straight. but it's okay. i'm here to bring you back to us."

"quite enough of that, (n/n)." you turn around and see the current evil deku looking back at you. "it's about time you get out of my head, don't you think?"

"i'll be back for you, izuku." you closed your eyes and woke up to katsuki holding your shoulders.

you quickly took the needle out and took off the foam pads off your forehead. deku was still asleep, thank god.

"what happened?"

"it's already gotten too far, so we need to hurry this up, get some rope or handcuffs." there was luckily a part in the basement where they kept all the weapons and capture items. katsuki came back with handcuffs. "untie him, katsuki."

"are you crazy?"

"trust me?" he untied him from the chair, removed the needle and the foam pads. everything that was going on around him was making deku slowly wake up.

he slowly came forth and you put your hands up when he made eye contact with you. "very stupid move you made, (y/n), getting into my head? that's something new for a dumb pet like you." you felt a pang in your chest but stayed silent.

you got the handcuffs from katsuki and held them in front of you. "if our izuku is still here, if there is still a part of him standing in front of us, then he would put these on willingly, and he will come with me." his eyes softened, he held out his wrist and looked down at them.

you cautiously walked over to him and snapped the cuffs onto both of his wrists, looking at his face, it contorted to a snare as he made eye contact with you. you stepped back to stand with katsuki, "you're not our izuku." he shook his head and snapped himself out of the handcuffs. he still stood in the same place.

katsuki was getting ready to fight, "come on then, kacchan."

"wait, don't fight him. it's just what he wants." deku chuckles. "you are really backing down? you've changed, kacchan. you're going soft." you gritted your teeth as you held up a gun.
