The dark blankets the earth and covers the land
Bringing the silence of day and life of night
The lone fox awake gazing to the sky
The fox stares immersed in the world above
As stars shoot by the fox chases
Following the star's path as long as the night allowed
The Fox and Star play a one sided chase uncaring of the world around them
The star continues to move and the fox willingly chases
As day begins to rise the star begins to fade
The Fox stares into the sky searching for it's star
The star moving through the sky even as the fox stopped
Even when the game has ended and the day hid his star
The Fox knew the star would return and waited
Even if the night was limited he'd chase the star as long as he could
