Another day, another dawn, as the sun rose high above the region of Resors. The sun caught the trees, wheat fields, mountains and settling trifecta made up of two villages and a city. These were Oakhill, Spruceside Acres, and SunRock City. Oakhill is known for its farming and wood industries, a quaint village on the south west side of Resors. Spruceside is close to Oakhill on the south east side, surrounded by spruce trees and is a rural village with a showfield in the middle, corner shops, local pubs, B&B's and the odd takeaway restaurant. SunRock City is a high-quality but slightly run over city north of Oakhill, known for its mining of precious sunrocks, which shone brighter than a star.
The region is populous of both humans and wildlife alike, with top species foxes, wolves, cattle, sheep, the lot, roaming wild or tended by farmers. Our story begins in Spruceside Acres, in a fox den on the outskirts of the forest. Here, lived four foxes.
Myron, A beanie wearing, coffee drinking fox, who was quite knowledgeable of surrounding areas. A sort of the brains of the outfit type fellow, but knew his sister would have something more to say on that assumption.
Clover, Myron's sister and the true brains of the operation, she led the fox pack with an iron paw and looked danger straight in the eye whenever it came calling.
Tuskan, a headstrong fox who was loyal to his friends and someone you would have as a good buddy. He would crack a joke and you'd laugh for a day. He joined Clover and Myron when he had escaped the hunt group H3, with his brother Gerald.
And Kristofer, Myron and Clover's Uncle, brother of their Dad and Uncle Edvard who both passed away. He wore shades and was an all round suave, calm, cool and collected fox.
The foxes had to move to leave home after their den blew up due to the actions of The H3, a group of hunters. They had made a new den, larger than the original, but were still upset due to the change in where they lived, the death of one of the Black Aces; A wolf pack that lived in the forest, and the departure of Tuskan's brother Gerald, who went to live with Flameflower, who used to be a hound for the H3 but was taken in by Wilson Frank, a musician from Spruceside who performed in a band called Charlie's Midnight Jockies.
"As peaceful and serene as I thought, it's still not the same" Clover said while looking at her new den. "We need to go out more, we can't just stay here all the time."
"But we're unsure what may be out there. I know we've been out before but remember, Spruceside is a village, where no hunters can fire or hunt. We're safe as houses" Tuskan said.
"Let's not dwell on it anymore, we're all a little upset, let's see what today brings." Clover said.
"I know we are all upset still about the changes, but change is a good thing. It helps us mature and grow as individuals." Kristofer said, hearing the two speak.
"You've got to admit though, it is a lot safer out here than it was in Oakhill. My visions have practically gone away." Myron said, smiling.
The foxes had discovered that Myron could have visions of the future a while back. Gladly, with training from Grandmaster Tatunka of the Black Aces, these visions simply got cast away.
"First, we'll go up and see The Black Aces for a quick catch up" Kristofer said.
The four nodded and set out into the forest.
