Hideko and Yaeko ran towards the gym after changing in their clubroom to see everyone else stretching at the gym's floor.
"What took you both so long?" Rin addressed them as soon as they entered.
"I apologize for the two of us being late. I was held up by someone." Hideko replied.
"Some. One?" Yaeko teasingly said.
Rin sighed, already feeling tired for the day.
"Moving on. Before we start for the day. I would like to make an announcement." Hideko said as she take her role as the captain of the team.
Everyone stoped stretching to listen.
"I'm officially enrolled in Karasuno High. I'll be taking my classes there starting next week."
Everyone gasped at the sudden news.
Safe to say, everyone was shocked.
"Wait. Wait. Wait. Hold up!" Hoshi, the blonde haired wing spiker of the team exclaimed while shaking her hands in front of her.
Hideko was suddenly engulfed by Maiko, the short haired libero.
"Don't leave us!" Maiko shouted with tears running down her face.
What on Earth.
Everyone talked over each other. Voicing their opinions regarding the news.
"Alright! Quiet down! I'm not leaving the team. I am still taking my P.A. class here. Nothing will change in our team, girls. I'll only be taking my regular subjects in Karasuno instead of here. And that I won't be able to practice with all of you as much.." Hideko explained, hoping to settle everyone's minds.
"Sounds good. As long as you still play with us, captain." Tomomi, the beautiful white haired setter of the team said.
"Fine. We'll take it!" Yaeko said as everyone laughed.
Everyone eventually calmed down as they finish their stretches before they start their training for the day.
Hideko ran around her kitchen making sure everything was perfect while making a mess here and there.
I'll clean them up later. She thought to herself.
She placed each protein bar in their packaging. It took her a total of an hour and a half to finish considering she had to put them in the refrigerator for an hour.
She took a bite in one of the bars and smiled.
Not bad.
Moving as fast as she can. She grabbed 2 bags from the cabinet, just ordinary shopping tote bags then divided all the wrapped protein bars into two.
For my girls. And my new team, for the boys.
I hope they like them.
Looking up after she was done, she noticed the white paper bag she received from the blonde haired girl from school. She left it on the kitchen counter as she was in a hurry to make the protein bars right as she got back to her dorm after classes.
Smiling to herself, satisfied with the work she has done. She went to grab the white paper bag and opened it to pull one out.
Huh. Chocolates.
Hideko opened one and popped it in her mouth, finally noticing the card inside the paper bag with the chocolates.
Again? Not that I'm complaining.
"Being part of the popular group does have some perks from time to time." Hideko absentmindedly said.
Opening it she read it out loud.
"Hide-senpai, I just want you to know that you inspired me to do so much. I will be joining the culinary arts club this year. I will always be thinking about you everytime I make something. I hope you like the chocolates! I made sure that they are perfect, just for you. With love, Akane." She smiled after reading the letter.
"How cute." Hideko said with a chuckle.
Hideko placed the paper bag back on the counter and grabbed one of the bags that's full of protein bars.
I should head out. Need to make sure the team gets them today.
Hideko locked the door and made her way to the train station. Thinking about everything she needs to do before she can physically attend Karasuno.
House? Food? So much to think about. How is gramps doing? What mess is my brother taking part in now? What mess is he creating?
Hideko sighed as she gazed at the bag she's holding.
Miyagi is a few hours from here.
Maybe I should write something for the team, a simple note.
