"MY name is Naruto Uzumaki, and I wont be loosing to any of you guys! You guys got it!" Naruto hollered at the participants in the room.
Riki looked at Naruto with surprise, unsure of what had made him shout that out to a room full of scary looking men.
The whole room of scary men were definetly staring at them now, if they weren't before. Was Naruto trying to make everyone else have some sort of beef with their team? Riki shrunk slightly at the glares they received.
"That idiot," Shikamaru said under his breath. "Riki, put your teammate on a leash, he needs to stop barking."
Riki mirrored Shikamaru's exasperated expression. "I wish I could. Really."
"Are you trying to make everyone enemies of us, Naruto!" Sakura said to her blond teammate, shaking her head. "Thanks to you I got glared at!"
Sakura carried on shouting at Naruto for his stupidity. Sakura and Riki were quite convinced that the odds were definitely going to be stacked against their team after Naruto's 'announcement'.
Riki was barely paying attention that she didn't see a genin from the Hidden Sound attempt to attack Kabuto. The Sound Genin had lifted up his shirt sleeve to expose a metal like plate in his arm, and threw a punch at Kabuto, one he stepped back of and evaded. But only a second later, the lenses of his glasses had shattered, falling to the floor.
"How? He should've evaded that attack!" Sasuke said, confused.
"Probably grazed the tip of his nose," Shikamaru said. "He's trying to act strong. That punk."
As sson as Shikamaru said that, Kabuto fell onto his knees on the floor, and began to throw up. All the rookies looked at Kabuto, bewildered.
"He threw up!" Naruto said.
"Hey, Kabuto!" Naruto asked concerned.
"Are you okay?" Sakura questioned as they both rushed to Kabuto's side.
"Yeah, I'm okay," Kabuto's assured them as he sat upright. The three Genin from the Hidden Sound Village were lined up in front of Kabuto, smirking.
"Oh, he's nothing special after all. Even though he's a veteran who's been taking the exams for four whole years," the Sound Genin who attacked Kabuto commented. "Write this down in your Info Cards! The three from the Sound Village . . . Doubtless Chunin."
"Silence, Degenerates!" A large smoke cloud erupted from the front of the classroom, where the blackboard was. Everyone turned their head to face the front to see a line of Chunin standing with a man standing in front of them.
"Sorry to keep you waiting," the man in front of the proctors said. "I'm Ibiki Morino, proctor of the first test of the Chunin exams."
Ibiki printed at the Sound Village Genin. "You lot, from the sound Village! No doing as you please before the exams! You want to get failed from the get go?"
"Sorry, it's our fist time taking the exams, so we flipped out," the Sound Genin apologised.
Ibiki gave them a small nod in recognition before turning to the numerous applicants that were stating back at him. "This is a good opportunity, so I'll say this now. There will be no battles, competitions and the like without the permission of the proctors! Any pig that screws with me will be disqualified immediately. Now then, we will start the frost test of the Chunin exams. Turn in your applications, take a number card in exchange, and sit in the seat matching that number!"

Riki sat in her seat, number 23, right at the front. It was just her rotten luck, being sat right in front of the proctor who had only seemed to scream at them when telling them the rules for the test they were taking. It really didn't seem like he liked them much at all.
