a very overdue author's note

i'm not entirely sure who'll read this since i haven't updated in a long while, but i feel like i'm obligated to post this at least.

recently i've been so unmotivated it's crazy. at first i didn't update because of my end of year exams and i was caught up trying to cram as much studying as i could last minute, so there's that.

i'm also a little unsure of what to do with this story, and i'd honestly appreciate feedback. i'm loosing ideas, and reader feedback is very helpful. (like, for example, whether i should extend the tracing arc for longer or go back to following the original plot—because these are things that can easily affect pacing and reader enjoyment.)

i want to put real effort into this story as i have so many things planned but i just can't seem to find the motivation to write them.

i'll try and update soon but no promises as of yet!
