Forest (Subthan)

Chapter 3

Ethan's POV
I jump through the door and nearly toppled over Danni. "CHRIST ETHAN!" She screamed, "COULD YOU HAVE COME IN MORE SUDDENLY, JESUS YOU SCARED THE HELL OUT OF ME!" I rub my neck, "Sorry, it'sjustthatSubandIwanttogotothepartytoo!" I run upstairs, brush out my hair, throw on a better pair of shoes and run back out with Danni smirking at the door, "MEET YOU-" but I slammed the door on her with her muffled laughter fading quickly as I ran back to Sub's (which wasn't far.) I stop, breath, and knock on the door. I hear a muffled curse and Sub opens the door, his tear stained face meeting mine. I gasp, "What's wrong? Who died? Are you dying?!" I rambled on with my own tears standing in my eyes. "No," he wiped one side of his face, "just an animation where you die to the ender dragon and I'm left alone..." I pull Sub into a tight hug, "it's ok, I'm here Sub." He cries lightly into my chest and I move slowly into the house to sit him down.

I wipe the tears off of his face after a few minutes, "better?" He nods and we get up to go to the party. The sky was darkening and you could see the lights from the party. I bend down and smile, "Want a ride?" He steps closer and jumps on my back. I walk all the way to the party with him one my back. Sub was surprisingly light. (Sub: That a fat joke?! Ethan: no!) Danielle waves, "Ethan!" She squints and gasps, "Get out Sub?!" Sub waves and smiles. "No MASK!?" Danni yells from the porch and run down and out, "Oh my god this is insane." I pull him closer, not even intentional just instinct. Sub looks up at me quizzically and I just shake my head, smiling. You both look at Danni simultaneously and she's smirking, "So THAT'S why you wanted out so fast..." She wait for us to catch on. Sub jumps and I blush, pull her close by the collar, and hiss, "Say a WORD about this and you're SO.DEAD." I shove her back and the 'deer in headlights' fear is in her eyes again. Oh jeez no look what I did! Great Ethan, scared her back to the old days..."Danni..." I reach out and she twitches back. Sub look at me, horrified at this new sight of Danni. Aaron looks outside and see her shocked into fear. He runs over and slowly puts his hands on her shoulders. She jumps back and looks up, fear changing to a softer gazes and she sighs and hugs him. I hadn't noticed Sub slip his hand into mine. As Aaron collected Danni I hold Sub close in a hug before going over and looking Danni in the eye, "Dan, you know I didn't mean that right?" "I know," she replies and hugs me. I hug her back and nod for Aaron to go. He nods and smiles one last time at Danni, a sad smile but a Smile all the same. She let go, "come on, let's get back to the party!" She's smiling again, good. Sub grabs my hand and walks in. A lot more people than just the Crew and Team Crafted are here. Sub and I grab a drink and sit at the bar type thing they had set up. Sub suddenly looks over at me, "What's wrong with Danni?" I sigh and rub my head, "A long, long story..."
That with be told in the next chapter! I swear that unless I die the chapter won't take month for me to complete. I got hella busy so I'm so sorry about that. Danni will have her own story so I'll go into more detail there about her but you get what you get here and LIKE IT! Haha, but they'll me what you thought in the comments. Later Nerds!
