Spring was finally here and the fae couldn't be happier than they ever were. Nature coming out of hibernation, and tomorrow was the prince's sixteenth birthday. In celebration, the faeries have planned something special for the surprise.

Silverbell helped gathered some clovers and lilies into a bundle for a garden faerie to take. He felt happy than before, nothing happening in his days as a knight.
Then there was Clover, he was kind to him even when he pointed a bow at him. His heart would beat in his presence whenever he would drag Silverbell to the open fields to tell stories or make flower crowns. Even when visiting White Pearl, he would sit outside the pool and listen to Clovers singing. It brought a smile to his face whenever Clover praised him.

He shook out of his thoughts and helped a faerie hang up decorations. He shouldn't get carried away; he has his duties to uphold especially now.

Of course part of that was to keep Clover distracted from the commotion and planning. So he asked to accompany him to collect berries for the baker faeries. They walked through the forest, chatting and collecting berries as Clover starts to sing, the animals come to investigate the beautiful singing. The birds sing when Clover sings, they land on his fingers and rubbed themselves against his face.

They eventually found themselves at the edge of a cliff, with a view of the Dark Enchantress's castle. Clover stared for a while, until sighing and sat on the dry grass below.

" 'sigh' I never knew why I was never allowed to leave the castle, I never knew why she kept me locked up." He said.

"The Dark Enchantress?" Silverbell asked. His blood boiled in an instant at the mention of the evil being.

Clover nodded, "I never knew why it was, why she forbid me from speaking to others." Clover's frown turned to a smile as he turned to Silverbell.

"But you want to know something? I fooled her, I have met someone."

Silverbell smiled and asked. "Who was it?"

Clover giggled, "Well, he's tall, handsome, kind, romantic, we walked together, talked together, and just before we said goodbye. He took me in his arms, and then...and then..." he trailed and frowned sadly.

"And what? What happened?" He asked worried.

"...I wake up." Was all he said.

"You, woke up? You're saying that it was..."

"A dream, yes. But my father once said that if you dream a thing more than once, it's sure to come true. And I've seen him so many times."

Silverbell gripped the grass beneath him, a dream. You dream more than once it will come true?

Will his dream ever come true?

"Clover, I...I have to confess something to you." He blurted out.

"Silverbell?" Clover's worry shown in his eyes.

He took a deep breath. "I was cursed when I was born." He began.

The air seemed to suck out of Clover, he couldn't breathe.
"What." He gasped.

He nodded and began to tell his story.

"When I was born, a dark being called a beast came to the kingdom, he offered to give us eternal happiness and joy if they would give up a firstborn faerie to him. The previous rulers refused him, they could sense the evil and poison in his words and tried to send him away. In revenge, he cursed me, the firstborn. He said when the sun sets on the day the sun and moon share the sky, I would prick my finger on a blooming rose, and die."
