The following morning, Chrissy awoke to the sensation of sunlight on her face, only to discover Jason fast asleep beside her, snuggled up closely. Smiling at the sight of him, Chrissy couldn't resist admiring his peaceful expression, gently exploring his features with her fingertips.

As she reached out to touch his face, Jason stirred, causing Chrissy to startle. "You know I can see you," Jason murmured teasingly with a sleepy voice, catching Chrissy off guard.

"I'm not doing anything," Chrissy replied innocently, feigning innocence.

"Sure, liar," Jason teased further. "Good morning, kitten," he greeted her warmly, asking about her sleep.

"It was great," Chrissy responded, returning his smile. "Well, that's great because I'm hungry," Jason declared as he quickly got out of bed. Chrissy nodded in understanding as Jason left the room to order food.

With a sigh, Chrissy noted the absence of a morning kiss but decided to freshen up instead. After thirty minutes, she emerged from the bathroom in a bathrobe, drying her hair with a towel.

"Hey, kitten!" Jason's voice called out, startling Chrissy."Oh, you startled me!" Chrissy exclaimed in surprise.

"I'm sorry," Jason apologized. "It's fine," Chrissy reassured him. "But how come I didn't hear you come in?"

"I don't know, perhaps the shower was on," Jason suggested, and Chrissy nodded in agreement.

"Anyway," Jason began, "breakfast is served." He led Chrissy to the dining table, where she quickly seated herself and served a hearty portion of bacon, eggs, and orange juice without a word.

"I wasn't mistaken," Jason remarked, amused by Chrissy's appetite as he watched her devour her meal. His laughter filled the air, prompting Chrissy to inquire, "What?"

"Nothing," Jason replied with a smile, moving closer to her. "You've got breadcrumbs on your cheek," he pointed out, brushing them away gently. "There, all better." Chrissy blushed as Jason looked at her intently.

"I thought we could take a walk outside," Jason suggested softly. "Perhaps to the beach. What do you think?"

"Okay," Chrissy agreed with a smile, prompting Jason to plant a kiss on her lips. "Alright, kitten, let's go," he said, leading her outside.

Back home in Alex's mansion, the morning was peaceful as he and his wife enjoyed their breakfast. Suddenly, the tranquility was shattered by the sound of the doorbell ringing. "I'll get it!" their enthusiastic 5-year-old daughter, Leah, exclaimed, darting towards the door with excitement. Despite Uma's warning against running, Leah was too eager to see who was visiting.

Observing the commotion, Uma sighed, pondering who could be at the door at such an early hour. She turned to Alex, seeking his opinion, but he merely shrugged in response. "Well, I'm heading to the bedroom. Could you check who it is, please?" Uma requested.

"Sure, darling," Alex replied, planting a kiss on Uma's lips before making his way to the front door to see the unexpected visitor.

Alex was taken aback to find June in his house, engrossed in conversation with his daughter. Clearing his throat to gain her attention, he prompted June to turn towards him. "Good morning, Alex," June greeted him warmly. "I'm sorry to disturb you this morning, but I really wanted to talk to you," she pleaded.

Nodding in understanding, Alex gestured for June to take a seat as he addressed his daughter. "Sweetie, could you go to Mommy right now? Daddy has something to take care of, okay?" he said gently, prompting Leah to comply before she hurried off to the bedroom.

Turning back to June, Alex listened intently as she voiced her concerns about Jason. "He told me that marrying Chrissy was just for the family and that he was planning to divorce her soon to return to normalcy," June explained.
