WHY DO I CARE

Its been long since I and Felix have a bonding, I don't know why but I keep on doing efforts for the both of us but it seemed to me that he never saw those, maybe out of busy schedule that he have no time to look upon my efforts

"Felix Babe~" I asked, as soon as I went back home I immediately went to see him, but as usual he doesn't have time to even answer my call; I open the door and it wasn't a surprise that he is lying on the floor sleeping with the documents on his hands, I sighed and clean up the mess before lifting him up and putting him on bed

I rub his face and trace the constellation like freckles that lying on his cheeks, I slightly lean towards him as I watch his eyes slowly open revealing the stars that it holds

"Babe, you're back I---" He was about to get up but I stopped him and put him back to bed; "I already clean; I'll go and take a shower first then I'll join you after alright~" I said as I kissed his forehead and smile lightly after seeing him closing his eyes once again

I quietly went out of the room and carefully close the door, I sighed after I close it without making any noise; "What are you doing Dumpling Villain" Someone from my back say, I knew it was ni-ki but I still flinched

"Shhh, your Dada's asleep" I said looking at him, he tilted his head and; "Hey aren't you supposed to be asleep now? It's midnight" I asked

"I heard someone sneakily opening the door, so I thought there is a rubber" he said revealing a toy knife on his hand, I snatch it away and lift him up; "The next time you heard someone entered the house bite them" I said

"You're too brutal" kid was really talking about being brutal when the first thing that come to his mind was to get a (toy) knife to protect everyone in the house, that makes me think of what if he is a grown man already he might as well just stab me right there and then T-T

"Let me put you to sleep alright, you still need to grow~" He finally settled on bed; "Dad~ are we really going to the beach?" He asked, I was sure before but seeing Felix busy schedule I'm now unsure about what to answer

"We'll be talking about that later okay, now go to sleep~" I said, he surely was still a kid he instantly fell asleep as soon as I tell him, I pat his head and kiss his forehead, I went to see if Yong was also comfortably sleeping now and after doing so I went out silently and went to wash myself

After I finish showering, I went to the kitchen first to get some coffee before going back to sleep with Lix, but to my surprise he was on the kitchen busying himself with something; "Hey" I said on his back making him flinched a bit; "did I surprise you?" I asked

"Ofcourse you did, you smell nice~ now sit down and wait for me to finish" He said, while cooking something; "I already eaten dinner" I tell him

"I know but it's been long since I cooked for you, I have been so busy these days that I wasn't even able to make you coffee for breakfast" He said, so it wasn't just me who notice that we are having less and less bonding together; "And so I decide to atleast make a midnight snack~" He said humming after he said those words

"How's work babe?" we say insync there was a moment of silent before we finally laugh about it, he put down the foods he prepared, the mouthwatering dishes that I've been longing for is now right infront of my eyes

"Wow you cook a lot" I said; "I told you we havent have a proper meal after getting so busy about work, it's either you or me who is busy that we didn't have enough time to spend dinner together" He said, "so let's eat" he smile at me, I was so tired and wanting to immediately went to bed but I think someone is watching over me and decided to make this the best day of my life

"By the way, Ni-ki was asking me when are we going to go to the beach" I asked; "Umm I guess I couldn't make it this month, how about next month?" He said
