I wake up to find myself wrapped around his arms. Holding me gently like I'm sort of a treasure he's scared will get stolen.
I move slightly, hoping to not wake him up, when out of the blue he tightens his arms around me even more. I groan.
"Kyannnnnn. Get up, the sun's out." I tell him. He mutters. "I want to stay in bed with you."
I slap his face with a pillow and he laughs. Cute sleep lines are all over his face and his hair is a mess.
"Fine. I'll wake up." He lets go of me and stretches and rolls around the bed. I stand up and find a notification from Minnie.
MeanieBoo: BITCH WHERE ARE YOU????? WE'RE ALL ABOUT TO GO HIKING.
That message was sent three hours ago. It's currently 1 am in the afternoon. Which also means me and Kyan are left behind.
I type a reply.
Me: Calm down. I'm alive and well.
She replies immediately.
MeanieBoo: Why weren't you in your room??!?! And... Why is Kyan's room locked?
[Smirking emoji]
Me: I think it's better to explain it to you in person.
MeanieBoo: Damn right. Listen, we're at the peak right now and I'll chat with you when we come back. You better tell me every detail. The way he went in, the way he...
Me: I'm blocking you.
"Is it okay if I get ready in my room? Stuff is there. Also, the team went hiking. Me and you are left behind."
Kyan looks surprised. "No one dared to knock on the door?"
"You're Jeremy Dy's son. You're intimidating as hell."
He adds. "And Nina doesn't give a shit. So."
I step out of his room and go to mine. There I get ready for whatever the day decides to throw my way. I have just finished changing when Kyan knocks on my door.
He scratches the back of his neck, he seems anxious. "Hey."
I reply. "Hi."
"Since we're left behind and– well, I just figured maybe we'd..." Kyan's ears turn red.
"Finish the sentence." I push, half-expecting what he's going to say.
He sighs in defeat and admittance. "Do you want to go out with me?"
My heartbeat fastens. My whole body is feeling the feeling we call: kilig.
I purse my lips. "I didn't know you were so old-fashioned; taking me out to dinner."
He grins as his brows furrow. "We've already felt eachother two times, we might as well go on a date."
I bite back a smile. "Okay. I'll meet you at the lobby."

Apparently, rich people can get cars wherever they like. And apparently, the Dys own Reysun.
"So your family has a resort, a food chain, a publishing company, a mechanical company, et cetera? Damn. Your dad's determined."
He looks at me as he drives. "He is."
"Now I know where you got it from."
"Got what?"
"Determination."
