Days have passed

Amber kept visiting XChara, and they kept spending time with eachother.

Despite everything, XChara was still rather cold, and Amber was still a bit of a shy mess, and their short meetings didn't help with that much, but they started to enjoy eachother's presences. 

XChara still didn't understand these feelings that he was experiencing... As time went on, the puzzle got together piece by piece, but it was very, very slow..

(Hah, get owned readers)

Eventually weeks have passed, and Amber's visits were getting longer and longer, which worked in XChara's favour. 

His injuries were getting better and better with each passing day, thanks to the assistance of Amber's healing magic. At this point, XChara didn't need most of the bandages on his body anymore, and he eventually wasn't bedridden any longer. 

Something had been bothering him though.. he was getting comfortable with Amber around, and was acting softer towards her, but... He had to tell her his trauma, his troubles..

But would she still be friends with him after this..? Or would she think that he's insane? (You are insane bro)

XChara didn't know how to speak about this.. He didn't want to lose her.

Amber noticed his bothered look when they were talking to eachother one day

"Chara? Are you okay..?"

Amber asked in concern, interrupting his thoughts. XChara looked up to look at Amber. 

"... It's nothing."

"Oh come on, you can't just act a little strange and say it's nothing, you seem bothered by something."

XChara sighed, he assumed that she was going to persist with the question. He took a very deep breath

"... I feel comfortable sharing my past with you, the topic's been bothering me."

"Really?"

".. but I fear that you may see me as crazy after I tell you."

"If you're talking about your trauma, why exactly would I be afraid of you, or see you as insane? You're my friend, and even if we only met a month or two ago, I trust you, and while I don't expect you to do the same, I don't want you to think I'm judgemental, especially when it's about something serious as your trauma."

"What I'm about to say would probably freak you out though."

"You're overthinking it, I promise I won't freak out."

XChara pursed his lips, he felt conflicted.. but at the point he couldn't back out, this conversation was going to happen anyway, so it's best to get it out the way.

"... What if I told you that I was from another universe..?"

Amber's smile faded with that question

"... Why ask that question, are you saying...?"

Amber asked... in which XChara nodded slowly, which left her dumbfounded, she was so confused.. There was silence for a second

"... I always had a feeling that alternative universes existed somewhere.. but.. I never thought that civilisation would exist in those universes, especially meet one.. I wonder how you got here?"
