Trial 10 - Branching Road

As everyone attempted to escort the students from the school they found more Reunion soldiers charging at them, this forced Gharian, Alex, Nearl and a few others to hold off the incoming attack while the rest evacuated the students.

"Why are there more of them?!"

"I don't know! Just keep taking them out!"

Alex replies to Gharian's complain as they blasted and slashed through more Reunion Soldiers some even getting through the pair but is thankfully intercepted by Nearl and a few others, this gave Alex something to stew on, sure Reunion was relentless but this? This was another level and he only saw this kind of relentlessness with once specific leader's squad.

"Mephisto... He's the culprit for the attack here?"

This causes Alex to click his tongue as he continued to thin out the incoming group of enemies, they may have not been fighting for too long but with how relentless the enemy is and with everyone's mental state compromised slightly from what the witnessed inside the school, sure enough some of them were getting exhausted, both physically and mentally.

Thankfully they didn't have to wait any longer as they were hurriedly called by Isabella.

"Everyone! Get in quick!"

The combatants made a mad dash for the rescue vehicles as the snipers provided cover fire, everyone safely entered the vehicles but Gharian decided to sit on the roof of the car instead to give Rosa and the others some more space to breath much to their insistence that he didn't need to.

With everyone on the vehicle the drivers all drove off towards the Land ship with everyone letting out sighs of relief, the Ursus students were saved and they suffered no casualties, things went well for them this time.

But of course as life always is... Something has to go wrong, and for this one? A rather terrible accident is about to occur.

"Urgh... That drained me more than I thought..."

Gharian said as he shook his head in an attempt to stabilize himself, however with how preoccupied he was with his own thoughts he didn't notice the incoming Reunion grunt who jumped in front of the vehicle causing it to swerve out of control, the car turned and turned, almost tipping over but was luckily able to balance properly... The same however cannot be said about a certain Archosauria who with his already Exhausted mind wasn't able to grip onto the vehicle properly and was sent flying onto an exposed Originium crystals, piercing and going through his stomach, impaling him

Gharian couldn't even make a sound from the shock of being impaled, he was only noticed to be in this state when Ace went to check on the vehicles situation

"Hey! Is everyone all... right... Oh no... OH FUCK NO! GHARIAN!"

Ace's shout alerts everyone as he hurriedly made his way over to Gharian who by this point was starting to cough up blood, without a second later multiple operators quickly rushed to his aid, attempting to free him from his impalement

"Shit! We can't pull him out! Someone needs to break it off!"

"Move!"

Skadi shouts as she expertly swung and sliced off the bottom part of the originium crystal separating it and somewhat freeing Gharian, once they got him partially freed they noticed that his breathing was getting ragged and the impaled part of his body was bleeding fast, they had to quickly rush him back

Jessica and Blue Poison almost broke down then and there but held it in as going on an outburst now would make things worse, instead they each did something else with Jessica vacating one of the transport vehicles and with Blue poison hurriedly gathering medical supplies
