"Where were you? "

Cold breeze was blowing and the orange leaves started to fall, As it was the month of October, when the streets of Ankara were rushed with people. Some were in hurry and some were calm. Some people made it on time and some took their time, to be free, to live.

In the rush of this street, There was a man who was late. He ran through the road and walked inside a café while breathing heavily. At that moment, his eyes caught a view. It was amazing at first, but unrealistic at the end. His eyes shined like the lonely sky just discovered its moon.

His slow steps took him to the girl who was standing on the reception. When the main door opened, the wind entered inside which caused her long, dark-brown and wavy hair to blow slightly. Revealing her golden beige skin. A pair of shining almond eyes, slightly plump , pink tinted and glossy lips.

He exhaled a cold breath before walking further to her. Totally forgetting why was he here. And whom he had to meet. The most important fact was, he was already late. But he ignored the problems in his life like you ignore your deadlines.

"Where were you? " He asked, Eyes stuck on her face

Her breath hitched a little when she heard this deep breath taking voice. And the next moment she realized, what he just said

"Excuse me? " She tilted her head a little

"Where were you? " He repeated with the same desperation

"Do i know you? " She asked, eyes softened suddenly

"I don't think i have seen you ever" She said

"But i think i have known you for my whole life" He breathed out, Eyes never left her pair of light brown orbs

She chuckled at his statement when she lowered her head, Her hair ran down to hide her face which was now tinted pink due to blushing but she gained his attention with her words at the next moment.

"That was cringe " She said with a little smirk

"Was it? " He chuckled while combing his back hair with his fingers

"Hey! " Someone else patted on his shoulder and took his attention.

"You are late. let's go now" The other person said

"I'm sorry. There was traffic." He apologized

"You go I'm coming" He continued

"Okay" the other person replied and left

He took a last glance at the girl and then smiled as he continued to walk out of the cafe. He sat in the car with the other person and left the place.

NEXT DAY

The girl was walking towards her café. It was 7am and the roads were almost empty. She got stunned when she reached at the café. Her eyes widened a little when she saw the same guy from yesterday, waiting outside the café in this cold breezy morning.

"I open at 7" She said while unlocking the door

"Oh! I didn't knew... So i just came an hour ago" He replied in a lively tone

"You've been waiting here since an hour? " She was shocked at his statement

"Hmm" He pouted cutely

She shook her head in disbelief, as she entered inside the café. She took her apron and started her day as usual.
