The night before the trip, Relia laid in bed with her phone beside her. She wanted to read another report from the doctor that ran the asylum. Emeric insisted he too wanted to hear about it. So, there she was, picking up one of the old pieces of paper and making sure the person on the other line could hear clearly.

" Am I loud enough for you?"

"You're plenty loud."

Relia could hear the smirk in his voice. She mumble something along the lines of shut up before starting to read.

Report Three: February 2, 1911

Inmate 79 is a lot more defiant than I assumed. Just when it seemed as though she would listen, she striked one of my Orderlies. They had just undone her bed restraints to minimize any possibility of bruising or chaffing. Lack of feces or urine stains showed she hadn't eaten in days. But despite hunger, she showed no weakness. It took three of my strongest nurses to pry her off. The Orderly's face was covered in deep scratches. Most were concentrated around her eyes. I fear that if such an attack wasn't stopped, the young lady would have lost her eyes. Stronger precautions must be taken when dealing with 79. Tomorrow I will begin her shock treatment.

Signed: Doctor Demen

Relia dropped the paper onto her lap. The call was so quiet, she wondered if Emeric fell asleep. She was proven wrong when she heard his heavy exhale.

"...You alright?" Relia asked. There was a shuffling sound on the other line.

"Yeah, I was listening while getting some exercise in." Emeric wiped his face on his t-shirt and picked up his phone. " This Doctor was beyond screwed up."

"No kidding." Relia slipped the third report back into the folder and took out the fourth. " Let's see what this one says."

Report Four: February 3, 1911

The first round of shock therapy was a success. Inmate 79 has been pacified. She still refuses medication, but within time I will make sure she takes it.  Out of all the inmates here, she is by far the most troubled. I've never had to personally get involved with their treatments. She's only fifteen, but 79 is-

Relia stopped reading. she lifted the paper closer. There were markings on the paper as if the doctor had been disturbed while writing. A new paragraph started a few lines below the first.

February, 3 1911 continued

It was not a success. She fooled us into thinking it had helped when in reality, she was planning to escape. Luckily we were able to capture her. Inmate 79 is currently shackled back to her bed. The next course of action is the water treatment. Perhaps it will be more effective.

Signed, Doctor Demen.

"Damn, Aurelia hide fight in her." Emeric stated. Relia slipped the paper back .

"What is water treatment?"

"The only thing I can think of is water boarding." Emeric sat at his computer. Relia could hear him typing on the keys. "....Yeah. I was right. Another form of torture they used was water boarding. Apparently Doctor Demen would tell concerned parents and guardians that it would flush out the illness."

"That's horrible!" Relia tucked her knees to her chest. The asylum really was a hell house. She couldn't even blame Aurelia if she did go crazy in there. She closed her eyes, trying to let the feeling of sorrow pass.

"Is there anything you think we'll need?" Emeric asked. Relia's eyes shot open again. She looked at her phone, thinking.

" What do you mean?"
