06|Normal Day

There was complete silence for about an hour, no one said anything other than Cat saying we should leave. We ended up at Alex's place since it was closer which was 20 minutes ago and yet still no one said anything.

"Vanessa, is this true, are you engaged? How did you two even meet?" Cathline asked breaking the silence.

"Yes in a way and through our parents."

"And you didn't I don't know think to tell us, your best friends something this big, something that is going to change your life." she snapped making me flinch in my seat. okay she has never behaved this way so this is a new

"Guys back off okay it was an arranged marriage," Tanyia shouted.

"Why are you backing her, you should be as pissed at her than us...wait did you know about this?". Scar asked in disbelief, Tanyia looked down at her feet guilt showing.

"I can't believe this, When were we going to know this?" Vincent asked Alexander.

"Soon," Alex said not giving a care in the world about the situation

"What on your wedding day?"

'maybe after we get divorced. I thought

"Really? After divorce is this funny to you" Oops did I say that out loud?

"Here I was about to be the greatest matchmaker in history when suddenly they already knew each other and got married."

"That's what You have to say about the situation. Seriously."

"What. Their personalities remind me of each other".

"Wow, I can't believe you're going to be married. Man, I guess congratulations are in order. I always thought you would be the last to be with someone much less get married"

"Don't be thrilled. Alexander and I are only being married for business purposes."

After that conversation, we dived into other topics. Alex and I were the only ones mostly quiet but would answer when asked questions, we just sat staring at each other. It's like I know him but I don't. It was about two in the morning and we all left to go home. The others were demanding an explanation and to explain everything from the start. We settled on a date and then left.

THE NEXT DAY
DECEMBER 9

I headed to the bathroom to shower and do my morning routine, I wrapped separate towels around my body and hair, walked into my bedroom put on lotion and deodorant, and did my makeup and hair. Once I was finished I went to my closet to decide what to wear.

After yesterday I wanted to stay in but I have responsibilities and it's not going to take care of itself. None of the other girls have talked to me except for Tay.

Today's going to be a busy one I have about two meetings one with Whites Corporation who wants to be in a partnership and the other with my team. I went into my office and put my coat on then exited back.

"For room 20 Akeem Smith, get me an x-ray on his lungs, i think he has too much fluids around his lungs. And MRI for Stacy Campbell room 16". I said handing the patient document to the nurse. "Send the next patient on your way out"

I AM NOT A DOCTOR SO MOST OF THESE THINGS ARE WRONG.

There was a knock on the door and I told whoever to come in, an elderly lady and a young girl came in and they both sat down "Serena Williams, hi what brings you in today?"
