Chapter 2

"Okay fine take my dang tag!" I shouted out throwing my tag at the tall male who was threatening me "You're lucky I don't-" "hit me?" I spoke as I turned to sit on the ground. He glared at me as he put my tag on then left. I was listening to the now people sighing as they were relieved he had left. I looked up at people passing by our cell and saw a familiar back passing by our cell and was confused about who they were. I think they were in the cell next to mine since they stopped next to our door. A few moments later I heard a huge thud in the other room, I wondered now who was fighting to get those new tags from the new cellmates.

I woke up to find the man who kept taking our tags gone "Where did he go?" I asked looking around "he was sleeping on the job so they took him.." the old lady stated "Well then I might as well do my work," I said as I got up and walked out to do so. Midway while I was walking in the hallway with others a girl stopped and yelled out of nowhere. She smashed a Zomgan head against the wall with unhuman strength, Risheule jumped down and my heart dropped. Who are these people do they think we can escape here? Risheule talks to her about something along the lines of killing him. She tells him she wasn't the one who killed Paladin then in a blink of an eye a person flew and Risheule took a hit from the person. I stood there in shock. WHAT.JUST.HAPPENED

The woman tells us we have to escape and people start moving and running so I follow. Everyone was either emotional or focused on escaping. After a while of running a girl hit both of the guards while holding onto a book and we continued to escape. Once we were outside people started getting on the boats I looked at my surroundings and saw that familiar back but now I was seeing his face too. His face was so familiar but I couldn't make out who he reminded me of. I saw that he defended an older woman, I thought she would've been dead by now because of how much time the guy from their cell has been taking their work. I haven't seen them in so long that I assumed they were eaten but it seems like they weren't. I got on the boat and it did not take long to get to the destination.
