Chapter 3

After a while, I see a small girl around my age staring so I get up and sit next to her "Hi I'm y/n! What's your name?" I asked as her eyes lit up "I'm Yashiro!" her excitement showed in her tone. On a short note, we became friends, best friends. We land on a very small island.....how are we all going to fit on that tiny island? I look towards my friend and she gives me a state back until the island drops into the water but it seems like A DANG FORCE FIELD... doesn't let the water in? My jaw drops and soon enough we all go into the sheltered underground somewhat base. After a while, I walk around with Yashiro and I see that boy again. It must have been obvious that I was staring because Yashiro asked "Do you know him?" LOUD. The boy turned to meet my stare as I got embarrassed and shushed her "Hey." his tone was cold. I froze as he turned his body to me, I couldn't help but see how sad his eyes looked... "Yes?" I questioned scared that he would probably tell me off because I was staring at him. "You seem familiar" he mumbled to me as he took a step towards us, his head tilting slightly. "Huh? Do you think so? I also thought you were familiar!" I answered trying to get to the bottom of why I think he's familiar. His eyes widened a bit "What's your name?" his voice still cold but a hint of curiosity, his face scrunching slightly "Y/n, you?" I asked as I took a glance at my friend Yashiro "Mirae on." he replied still examining my appearance. It clicked "Mirae?" I say with a shocked mind but calm expression as he nods still in confusion. My face winches slightly as I suddenly take in who he is to me. "Do you remember me?" I ask hoping he did. All he did was shake his head then an older woman called after him and he walked away leaving me feeling confused...how didn't he remember me?

Time skip 

Long after our encounter, I would train with people and sometimes when playing a game sorta like the game Capture the Flag I would be on his team...we easily won every time. I was left wondering if he didn't remember me at all "Y/n?" yashiro asked "Huh?" I yelped in response "Are you okay? You keep daydreaming." she reminded me "Yeah just thinking!" I say as I stare at the boy again "You keep looking at him" she points out "I know but I don't get why he doesn't remember me" My stare was so intense I could shoot laser holes into him.

Mirae's pov

The girl I met months ago wouldn't stop staring at me when we were training her stare was so intense it annoyed me for some reason. I remembered her from when she stated her name but I didn't want her to remember me. I don't deserve to be remembered. She'd be so disappointed at what I had done to my mother. I have to make sure she doesn't remember me. But I need for her to stop trying to remember who I am first. I gave her a stare back hoping she would break eye contact but she didn't until her friend had whispered something into her ear making her turn to the other girl breaking our eye contact. I simply look away and focus on Captain Gyeong as She orders me to bring my humanity back. I go over to Jiseon's place and she gives me a mission to get all of the ingredients so I walk around with Hayeon and someone catches my eye...Y/n.
