Jungkook sat at a booth in a diner, leg bouncing rapidly as he waited for Taehyung to join him for lunch. They had made plans to grab a bite to eat before heading to an art session Taehyung had suggested. He didn't know why he was suddenly nervous. It was just Taehyung, his best friend. There should be no reason for his sudden anxiety.

He was about to look around the diner again until there was a phone that was placed on the table in front of him. Jungkook looked up confused, eyebrows knitted together as Taehyung sat down across from him and smiled.

"Here. Since I know that you are going to ask for it eventually, but I think you should save it as someone else. I know that girlfriend of yours will be pretty angry if she saw that name on your phone." Taehyung takes a hold of the menu that was at the end of the table.

"What makes you think I would want her number? She gave it to you, not me." Jungkook says, eyeing the phone.

"Oh? Well, if that's the case." He reaches for his phone but Jungkook stops him, before taking out his own phone.

"I am just going to get it, you know, for emergencies." Jungkook copies the number down and closes out his phone before passing Taehyung his own device. "Thanks."

"Of course." He nods, taking a quick glance at the menu again before the waitress arrives. "Oh, may I have a tea and the lunch special, please. Kook, have you ordered?" Taehyung looks over to his friend.

"I will have the same." Kook nods, sliding the menu back to the end of the table.

"I have already started messaging her." Tae says as Jungkook halts his movement for a second, taking in the fact that she was probably already speaking with him. "She is going to join us for the art session today."

"What?" Jungkook's eyes went wide as he felt his insides twist and turn. He felt anxiety before, now he felt his heart working on overdrive. "What do you mean she is joining? Does she know that I will be there as well?" He asks worriedly, stomach twisting in knots making him feel like he might throw up all the contents in it.

"Of course she knows you will be there. And besides, I want to hang out with her, and I am sure you feel the same." Taehyung shrugs as if it were no big deal. But to Jungkook, it was a big deal. A very big deal. The whole reason why he was in emo mode during his first years of college.

"What makes you think I would want that?" Jungkook sighs, putting emphasis on himself as he sinks into the booth, forcing his body to relax.

"To talk, to get closure. If you want, I can tell her to bail and it can be just us bros." He answers taking his phone and tapping it.

"I mean, you already invited her. That's fine, but I prefer you'd ask before you make such a leap." Jungkook's leg began to bounce again. "I honestly already feel anxious, now I feel like my stomach is leaping out of my system."

"You okay?" Taehyung had concern in his voice, he knew how Jungkook was and knew how he would get when it came to her. "Hey, tell me honestly. If you don't want her there, I will cancel. I mean it." Taehyung said earnestly. He Wanted Jungkook to know that he would always have his back, no matter who got in the way.

Jungkook shook his head. "No, it's okay. It is better to try and talk to her without Hana around." Jungkook appreciated the efforts Taehyung has put in this so far, knew that if it weren't for him, he wouldn't have this chance, nor would he have her number.

"I agree." Taehyung gives a firm nod. "I think it'll be good for the two of you to talk and air out any past anger you might have. I know you have a lot." Tae finished before Jungkook opened his mouth to object.
