Chapter 7

"Whoops!" Jackie says with a giggle, north snores, catching her attention. Jackie begins to laugh as she sees the carrot from bunny's dream dance with a candy cane from north's. "I really wish I had a camera right now." Sandy smiles back at her, but something caught his eyes in alarm. Jackie looks back, it was a nightmare. Jackie watches them from the window and takes off after them. "Sandy come on! We can find pitch!" Sandy steps over the bodies and hops out of the window following Jackie.

Unbeknownst to them little Sophie walks in with her fairy wings on, grabs the snow globe that was in North's pocket, "pretty!" She giggles, she looks over at bunny, "Bunny, Hop! Hop! Hop!" The egg makes a picture of eggs, "ooh! She trips over abbey making the glass ball break and the portal opening. She walks through, as soon as she leaves, North wakes up "what?...huh?" He says in a dazed look.

The nightmares soar through the sky, with Jackie right behind them. She giggles in excitement of the chase, the adrenaline getting to her. Sandy glides beside her on his golden cloud. They both smile to each other "yes!" She does flips on chimney, Sandy hops on the back of a nightmare changing it into a stingray as he glides through the air. Jackie still on a mission to chase down her nightmare, it goes to jump over a roof, but Jackie freezes it. She chuckles and hops up on the roof "I got it!" She stares at the frozen black sand. "Sandy did you see that!" She laughs, unbeknownst to her pitch was right behind her "look at this thing!"

"Frost?" She gasps turning around to see pitch. She uses her powers to try to freeze him, but he dodged it. "You know, for a neutral party, you spend an awful lot of time with those weirdos." Jackie snarls "watch what you say about them!" Pitch laughs "have I struck a nerve, this isn't your fight, Jackie." Jackie huffs "you made it my fight when you stole those teeth!" Pitch looks to her in confusion "teeth? What do you care about teeth?" There was a sound and a familiar golden man stood beside pitch with his arms crossed. Pitch steps back and laughs, "now this is who I'm looking for." Sandy turns and whips out golden whips. He tries to hit pitch, but pitch was dodging them. Pitch makes a axe out of black dust trying to hit Sandy.

Jackie runs over to them, almost getting hit herself, making her fall. The battle was on between the two, it was epic, Sandy's golden whips took a hold of Pitch and Sandy started throwing him back and forth. Sandy threw pitch into the street making him hit cars and trucks and then rubbing his body on asphalt. Jackie walks up beside Sandy as he brushes off his hands, "remind me not to get on your bad side." He smiles at her and floats down to where pitch was. "Okay, easy, you can't blame me for trying Sandy. You don't know what it's like to be weak and hated. It was stupid of me to mess with your dreams, so you can have them back." He laughs evilly as all the nightmares surround Sandy and Jackie. They came from every direction of the street, Jamie began to get nervous, "you take the ones on the left, and I'll take the ones on the right?" Jackie asks Sandy nervously, Sandy looked nervous himself.

Pitch comes into view riding a nightmare. Sandy forms his golden whips again. "Boo!" The nightmares started to attack Jackie and Sandy. Sandy whips them away the best to his ability. A familiar jingle is heard over head. Everyone ducked as the sleigh was so close to them. Everyone in the sleigh was still affected by the sleeping dust, until they hit a building, waking them up. Sandy whips one more, before taking Jackie into his arms and blasting off into the sky with the nightmares following them.

He throws Jackie to the side, one nightmare battled her, she hit the horse with her staff making him disappear in a cloud of ice. Tooth flys out of the sleigh to help them. Jackie grunts as one by one, the nightmares get faster and stronger. Fighting them off as best as she can. Jackie hit one, then behind her, one was coming towards her, until tooth came in and did a full flying circle taking them out, Jackie smiles to her friend "yes!"

The rest of the nightmares took too the sky with pitch as their leader. Bunny hops off from the reindeer yelling as he fights the nightmares off with his boomerang hoping from roof top to roof top. North picks him up and hops on to his panel control with his swords laughing. His swords swishing everyway, taking out the nightmares. Two nightmares were coming straight wards Jackie, she took a deep breath and floated down, making the two mares hit themselves and vanish. On the way down, she hits one, making her loose her balance and her stick. She finally catches it, landing on the sleigh, "bewdy! You might wanna duck!" The boomerang slashes through the horse, Jackie looks to bunny as he smirks.

Sandy whips his whips on his little golden cloud, the black dust cloud around it was getting bigger. Jackie took notice, "we got to help Sandy!" North yelled out yah! And the reindeer fly towards him. Pitch takes a bow with a black dust arrow and shoots it into Sandy's back. "no!" She screams out, Jackie jumps off and flys towards Sandy. Pitch laughs to a scared looking sandman "don't fight the fear little man!" Tooth took flight, but she was stopped by nightmares. "I'd say sweet dreams, but there aren't any left" he says as he grins evilly.

Sandy begins to turn black from the nightmare dust. He notices everything he touched turned black. Jackie was flying trying to get closer to him, sandman stand up and looks at pitch with a straight face. He takes a deep breathe as the black sand closes in on him. "Sandy?!" The other three guardians watch as their friend disappears. "No!" Jackie yells out, flying towards pitch and the other nightmares. Pitch raises his arms and signals for the nightmares to attack her. Millions upon millions of nightmares rain down on top of Jackie. The other three look worriedly to her "Jackie!" Bunny screams out towards her. She gasps and stops as the mares hit her pushing her down. She takes a deep breath, with all her power, a big bright blue ball surrounds her. There was an explosion, electrifying ice came out of every which way. She screams as she puts both hands on her staff, freezing all the mares. The horses bust into little frozen particles. Pitch falls gasping and screaming.

Jackie falls from the sky, tooth flys after her. "Jackie!" North and bunny yell trying to wake her up. She grunts when tooth catches her. When tooth lowered and put Jackie in the sleigh, bunny's paw went straight for her hand. "How did you do that Jackie?" She turns her head tiredly "I didn't know I could," and then she passed out. Pitch falls into a big patch of snow, he laughs watching the sleigh go by in the sky. "Finally, someone who know how to have a little fun!"
