Background:
Reader is a werewolf from another state and was in danger needing to move, she came across beacon hills and was imminently drawn there.
She came across Derek in the woods, as they are both werewolf's they could straight away smell each other. They knew they was mates but because of their pasts they was stand offish with each other but wasn't pushing each other away.
After a while she meets everyone in the pack and became pack mom (Derek is alpha not Scott). She can tell that the dynamic is different to many packs she has come across and works to make sure everyone gets along.
