Sonic stirring in he's sleep he has a nightmare he was in a dark void with nothing in it but himself but then as he floats around this empty void then he feels a light that gazes behide him before he sees dark Gaias huge green eye as it stares at him as then in a huge shock he wakes up as he realize it was just a nightmare.

Sonic : whew, that was a weird wasent it chi..* he stops as the memories start again as tears fall down as he looks down as he's still holding to chips necklace as he holds it tight as he realizes he's failed everyone *

* after a while he clears he's tear and then trys to figure out where he was as he thought he world was gone but here he was in a lavish room that was styled with blue and white trims with a gold touch even the bed seem to be made with the finest materials this place can offer no wonder he was asleep *

He got up and found he's gloves and shoes were lying on a nightstand as he realize there were different as he remembers there were torn before but they been remade as the gloved kept the white color but had armor plating on it and he's shoes had it too while he's shoes were fixed as he puts it on as he walks out of he's room to the big hallway as it was decorated with a big red carpet as sonic look around .

Sonic thoughts : where the heck am I this is not Soleanna or any kingdom I know or wait * trys to remember a key detail of a another place that was a kingdom but can't remember *

Sonic shrugs before exploring the castle as he sees empty rooms before he comes across a giant door where he hear people talking as he puts he's ear up to the door trying to figure out what they are talking abt .

??? : I thought he was gone. Didn't you send him back to his world a couple of months ago

??? : I have, but the necklace I gave him has activated its last resort. I put inside, and it brought him back, and you saw what state he was

??? : I know, but it's weird he was crying in his sleep and that bracelet in he's hand and it kept glowing as if it was protecting him odd

Then a female voice that sonic heard earlier before he passed out spoke.

??? : I believe he's staying this time at least I think so

??? * male voice * : really think so? I mean, I remember him protecting this land and then leaving us behind

Female voice : it wasent he's fault he had a another world to go to and if he's hurt in that state then that means it's possible the necklace brought him from two things ,one could be he needed a escaped and didn't have one from whatever enemy or he's world is gone and the necklace brought him here as a way to save he'd live

Male voice : Then that means he probably has no where else to . The doors crack open as then the group of people at a round table gasp in suprised as then sonic realized where he was *

Sonic : I am
...back in canterlot???

* Then he sees the woman at the end of the table who was merlina *

Merlina : * gasp * You're awake! * she runs up to hug him, glad he's fine now *

Sonic hugs back but confused

Sonic : Umm, nice to meet you guys again, but ummm

Merlina realize and let's go and take a step back

Merlina : oh sorry sonic we were just excited you were back, my king

Sonic: I thought the last time I said not to call me king

Merlina : I know it's a habit, especially after what you did for our kingdom

Then the female voice he heard earlier was Amy's version of this world, the lady of the lake, as she walked over to him.

The lady : Hello, sir sonic it's a pleasure to see you again. * she bowed in respect *

Sonic bows back respectfully

Sonic: it's a pleasure to meet you. ummm , he paused . I never got your name the last time we met

The lady giggled as she spoke

The lady : My real name is Viviane
( The actual myth of the lady of the lady name is either nimue or Viviane, so I thought it was fitting to implement it)

Sonic : Well Viv, can you tell me what happened and how I got here .

Viviane: merlina found you in the forests nearby after the necklace she gave you before you left back to your world, an enchantment to save you from extreme danger that would risk your life .

Sonic scratches his head as he remembers that merlina gave to him as a last resort in case he was on the verge of dying

Sonic : Well, I should thank you as i * says in a solemn tone * was in a bad situation
* The knights and merlina with Viv see sonic was sad and for the first time see tear streaks down he's face as then merlina hold he's hand *

Merlina: let's take it slow sonic first tell us what happened * sonic nodded before explaining he's whole world is gone as he was explaining dark Gaia and chip as he lost and dark Gaia destroyed it all and he was lucky he had the necklace or he would have died in the vacuum of space *

Merlina and the others gasped as then Viviane went up to sonic as she spoked as she hold he's hand in comfort.

Viviane: I am sorry sir sonic I can't imagine that level of pain and sorry but all I can say that we will do everything we can to make sure your transition into this new live goes well sir sonic .

Sonic nods and trys to smile as then he remembers smt a old friend .

Sonic: oh how's calibur or should I say Excalibur as the last time we fought together he transform into he's true form and all

Excalibur: I am here sir sonic * he was in the corner of the room with a new knight of the round table that is slivers counterpart of this world knight galahad .

Knight galahad?Bowed as he spoked

Galahad: hello sir sonic my name gawain I am a new knight of the round table and miss percevial apprentice and I been keeping Excalibur ever sinch he woke up.

Sonic: he woke up?

Viviane: remember the last time ? He went to sleep in the stone as a way to find a new king candidate but sinch your back it seems he has sense it and came back when merlina found him in the garden nearby .

Sonic : I see * looks back at Excalibur as he spoke*

Excalibur: I am sorry for what happened in your world all I can say is that ever sinch I was made and been in this world for centuries is that loss is hard to deal with and it can be soften but the pain is still there all we can do is keeping moving foward for those we have lost. * he said as sonic nodded sadly as then he walks up and picks Excalibur up *

Sonic : I understand calibur ...* he said as then he look to the knights and merlina * I will do my best guys I know this isn't my world but I try to protect it the same way I did my world * he hold Excalibur way high as the knights and merlina smile as they Gain back their biggest protector *
