Metal sonic and sonic fight outside of the castle as they race and doge each other's attacks as sonic was furious and confused why metal sonic was here unless Eggman knew sonic was here as well.

Eggman was watching threw a small clockwork drone on a tree branch as he smiled .

Eggman: good luck getting past me in this world sonic and if you do I got a few * old friends for you * .

Metal sonic grabs sonic and boost out of the broken wall of the castle onto the wasteland outside where it started to rain as sonic gets up to face he's metal doppelganger as then sonic gets a memory of all the times him and metal sonic fight as then even tho it was painful to remember but metal sonic can only see a cocky grin on sonics face like always as 2 words come out .

Sonic: lets....race * then they both speed put of the wasteland into the woods as to the knights and Rosalie who was barley hanging can hear clashes.

Back to the castle lancelot and Percival had Roland and Rosalie to the medical center od the castle as Rosalie command the second knight commander who was a jackle with a mask that had only red on the left with a yellow eye and he had a gem on hes chest which glowed red and purple.

( if you guys didn't notice this sec9nd in command is infinite however I given him a name and I search for illusionist type of name and I found one fitting which is ambrose and in this world ambrose is a diligent worker who's been working under Roland and Rosalie and can say he's their top secret weapon as he he's chest holds the phantom ruby like he did in sonic forces but uses it work good .)

Roland looks to ambrose who was about to go outside as he then Roland say smt .

Roland : don't overdo it ambrose remember last time you used that gem and almost went insane * ambrose nods and holds he's double edge sword and went I outside to help sonic *

Lancelot : I am guessing that gem is powerful isn't it?

Roland : it has the power to make illusions that he makes become alive but has the side effects of the the user hallucinating and could kill themselves from the insanity that comes from it.

Lancelot : then why was he given such a gem.

Roland: because hes the only that could resist such side effects and come out okay for a short time before the side effects come again.

Lancelot  nods as then looks to Percival *

Lancelot: Percival go and follow ambrose while I stand gaurd over them as we don't know if the clockwork empire will strike again .

Percival nodded

Percival: alright then I try to be quick as I can * them she uses the fire at the bottom of her feet as she Flys over to the woods *

Back to metal sonic and sonic they clash kept going as blow after blow more dents went to metal sonic while more cuts and bruises were more stained and he was getting tired while metal wasent sinch he isnt a living being .

Sonic thought to himself as he block every stroke and every claw strike that went after as he's blade was about to break .

Sonic thoughts: dang it metal is tougher then before this is different then the last time fought or is it am getting slower I mean..* then he realizes that he has gotten slower as he's doubting himself.

As sonic was too busy thinking metal was about to him untile a blade strikes him being ambrose duel blade as sonic was suprized

Ambrose: if you want to distract yourself take it elsewhere as a knight you shouldn't let yourself be distracted.

Sonic: I wasent being....distract * he said but ambrose doubt it due to sonics nervous tone as then they both prepare themselves against metal who's already analyzing mutiple ways to destroy them *

Ambrose fights metal while sonic trys to get rid od the self doubt and again the hallucination try again blaming him and doubting he's ablitys but then smt happens as ambrose speaks as he clashes metals claws with he's sword with a spin slash.

Ambrose: if this is the hero of legend and the king candidate supposes to be like then leave but if your actually willing to fight I suggest get up and do smt about it.

Sonic then shakes he's head

Sonic thoughts: hes right I need to keep moving I need to keep going for them!

* then sonic threw away hes blade and them went he's old way and spindashes at metal and blast him to a tree *

Sonic : how's that ?

Ambrose smirked : good but not good enough * as they see metal sonic get up while a shoulder was sparking *

Then sonic and ambrose prepares themselves but then a wave of fire was thrown at metal as Percival Flys down *

Percival: are you two okay?

Sonic thumps up : never better sinch your here Percival * ambrose nods as metal sonic was seen standing seeing he's options untile a message was received to retreat as metal sonic nodded and before the 3 knights stop him metal sonic left *

Sonic : it seems that won't be the last time we see of metal sonic .

Ambrose: that's he's name?

Sonic : yeah I ran into a couple of times he's always trying to say he's gonna be the real sonic around here * he shrugs *

Percival: I see so this copy wants to end your life to be the true sonic how sadistic

Sonic : eh I am used to it so how's the queen .

Percival: it's fine she received minor damage while Roland took the brute force of your copy attacks but other then that their okay.

Sonic: that's a relief I am glad so umm I never ask your name * looks to ambrose *

Ambrose : my name is ambrose second in command of the knights of scar .

Sonic: nice to meet you the names sonic , sonic the hedgehog.  * he brings out hes hand for a handshake which ambrose shake he's hand and let's go *

Ambrose: we should go bsck to check on the queen * the 3 nodded as they head to the castle *

In a another location Eggman was using he's drones to watch them with a smirked.

Eggman : oh sonic I am so glad your here I can't wait to show you your old friends.

( behide Eggman was tubes of a vicious liquid that holds mutiple people )

One being a yellow fox with two tails,a pink hedgehog, a blsck hedgehog, a red echidna, a orange rabbit with a smaller light  blue creature with it as tbis was sonic friends all in sleep as Eggman saved them before the world ended and now wants to see how sonic will get them back from him .
