Cady Heron was entering high school for the first time in her life. She was beyond nervous to join; she didn't look where she was going when she first crossed the road. Just as she stepped on the pathway, walking into the massive building, someone bumped in from behind her and gave the strawberry blonde an annoyed look. "Bitch, move." The girl said she was walking past Cady.

Cady took a deep breath before she walked to what she thought was her first class; she learned that it was just homeroom. As soon as she entered the room, she could see two people she assumed were teachers; one was a woman with brown hair, and the other was a man with a broken arm.

The man was walking around the room. To grab everyone's attention, Cady approached the people in the class to see if there was anyone she would like to be friends with or could see herself liking, but she didn't see anyone. "May I have everyone's attention, please?" The principal said loudly, standing at the front of the classroom, "Eyes to the front of the room." He continued.

When he noticed everyone was paying attention, he turned to Cady and smiled. "You may notice we have a new student joining us today. She just moved here from Kentucky." The principle said, and Cady giggled. "Kenya." She replied, "Kenya. Her name is Caddy." The prince said, Cady giggled again. "It's Cady. Cady Heron." She corrected him.

The principal looked down and said, "My apologies. I will commit that to memory. Cady, like the Canadian songstress K.D. . Lang , and Heron, like the illegal street drug. Thank you, Caddy." The principal said that Cady sighed and corrected him once again. "It's Cady." She whispered quickly.

The woman who was sitting at the desk got up and moved closer to Cady. "Cady, hi. I'm Ms. Norbury. I'll be your homeroom teacher." She smiled, then handed her a sheet of paper saying, "This is your roster." She took a closer look at the sheet and smiled. "I see I also have you for A.P. Calculus. You must have had excellent teachers at your old school."

Cady turned red, feeling shy and flushed. "Oh, I was home-schooled." She said, The teacher's eyes go wide. "Home-schooled? Oh, that's a fun way to take jobs from my union." She says this, her face staring, and Cady looks at her with an apology. Cady feels embarrassed because she doesn't know what to say. "No, I'm joking. It's fine," the maths teacher chuckles.

"Um, do you think you can follow this schedule?" The teacher asks, looking at Cady, and she nods, taking the paper and looking at it. "Yeah, I think so." She says, and the teacher smiles, saying, "Okay, you're going to be moving from class to class with each other." She is interrupted by the school bell ringing. She smiles, saying, "That's it."

Cady didn't pay attention in the first class she had; she was confused about why she chose this subject. She went to sit down on a table, but someone blocked her. When the guy sat down in the chair she wanted to sit in, the girl who blocked her started kissing him. She noticed there were no other seats, so she decided to sit down on the floor. The bell was ringing before she knew it.

Her next class was French, and luckily, in this class, she successfully found a desk. The French teacher turned around from the white board and walked closer to her desk. "Maintenant nous choisissons nos noms français." She introduced herself, looked at the roll call, and smiled, "Cady. Comment tu t'appelles?"

Cady smiles, and someone finally gets her name correct: "Je m'appelle Cady." She says happily, and the French teacher shakes her head, saying, "Incorrect!" Cady looks at her, confused. "You have to pick a French name." She says Cady rescued the girl from her home room and
