"Anyways.. I should get going, it's late" I say smiling softly.
"Oh yeah, of course" Jake says smiling at me.
I started walking downstairs after saying bye to them all and started walking to the front door. I went to walk out when I heard footsteps behind me.
"Hey, y/n, wait" I hear Jake say and I turn around.
"Yeah?" I say looking at him.
"Can I possibly get your number? You seem really sweet and I'd love to stay in contact, maybe meet up sometime?" She says looking nervous.
I smile and giggle before speaking. "Of course, I'd really like that"
He smiles big and grabs out his phone handing it to me. I grab it gently and put my number into his phone before handing it back to him. "I'll see you around" I say smiling at him before turning on my flashlight and leaving.
~Skip to home~
I walked inside not seeing Dave as he probably had to leave and I shut the door behind me. I walk to my room seeing Smokie cuddled up on the bed, making me smile softly. I put down my bag and place my phone and camera on the side table before taking off my clothes. I walk into my bathroom and lean in, turning on the shower before getting in.
After a bit I got out of the shower and wrapped a towel around my body before getting out and walking to my room. I dried off and put on some pj's before walking over and getting into bed next to Smokie. I watched her wake up and jump over to me and lay on my chest. I smiled and went to close my eyes when I heard my phone buzz.
I looked over and grabbed my phone seeing it was an unknown number. I opened it and looked at it.
Unknown number Hey y/n, it's Jake. If you are ever in LA, let me know. I'd love to hang out😊
I smile reading his text and chuckle a little.
Me Hi Jake. Well actually, I live in LA. So if you wanted, I'm free tomorrow?
Jake Oh, Amazing! What about coffee?
Me I would really enjoy that. Text me where and when☺️
Jake Dunkin donuts, at 10am. Sound okay?
Me Deal.
I smile and put my phone down on charge before turning off the lamp and closing my eyes. I slowly fall asleep with Smokie, cuddled into my neck.
~Next morning~
I woke up slowly rubbing my eyes and reaching over to grab my phone. I look at the time seeing it's 9am and jumped out of bed.
"Fuck" I say running to the closet and pulling out an outfit and changing into it quickly.

I fix myself and sit down at my desk, starting my makeup. After about 20 minutes, I finish and brush my hair, leaving it down and putting on my converse. I grab my purse and my phone before heading out of my room. I run to the kitchen and quickly fill up her bowl before grabbing my keys and leaving the house. I go to my car and hop in, putting my bag in the seat next to me, beginning to drive off.
After about 20 minutes, I get to Dunkin donuts, parking my car and getting out. I go inside and see Jake sitting down and I sigh softly walking over to him.
"I am so sorry, I know i'm a bit late, I over slept a little" I say sitting down in front of him.
"I thought you were going to stand me up" He says giving me a smile, showing his dimples again. I smile back and we begin talking.
"Okay, I will go and order for us" He says getting up.
"Oh- here, I'll give you money" I say grabbing my purse.
"No, no, don't worry about it" He says smiling and walking to the counter. I smile and watch him walk off.
~Skip a little later~
We walk out together and he walks me to my car.
"Thank you again, Jake" I say looking at him.
"Oh yeah, no problem. It was really nice hanging with you" He says looking down, smiling at me.
"Text me when you are free next?" I say smiling.
"Well.. My house is throwing a party tomorrow night, would you like to come?" He says.
"Oh- Yeah okay, sure" I say.
"Alright, I'll send you my address" He says waving as he walks off to his car. I smile and get into my car, driving off.
