"Tahj I'm hungry," Iruo yawned waking up, not knowing why she agreed to coming with him on this trip.

"Ma Ima feed you as soon as I can, I can't stop right now." Halfway through Philly, pissed himself he had to come that far.

Sighing she nodded, looking at her phone seeing no new notifications.

Seeing the police pull off and get behind him he sucked his teeth, "Fuck."

"What's wrong?"

"I got damn near 10 pounds with me right na, I ain't kno I was comin for that til I got there. I wouldn't have you with me if I knew."

"That's why you was cussing somebody out earlier?" Remebering him cursing someone out on the phone, feeling bad for whoever was on the other end of the phone because Tahj definitely didn't hold back.

"Yea. I'm not gon lie I'm not pulling over, I can't ima go to jail for too long."

"So what we gon do."

"Push this bitch til I can't no more. Matter fact take yo seatbelt off and get the bag through the cup holder, stay low." Iruo did as told, right when she got to the back the police cut the lights on and Tahj started speeding.

"I'm sorry I got you into this."

"Tahj focus on the road." he sighed and nodded, sitting up so he could drive how he wanted. The state patrol didn't have regular cars, they had fucking hellcats and shit. Luckily Tahj modded his car up so they couldn't touch him but if they ran into some up ahead it'll get bad.

Climbing back to the front she went to her maps, "It's a causeway under the lake, do whatever you can to stop that way. We can't out run them they know if we running it's an obvious reason."

"How far?"

"4 miles." Tahj nodded, seeing more and more police cars. "Fuck,"

Sooner than expected Tahj had to drift to the right seeing police cars up ahead just how he expected. Grabbing all their stuff she made sure nothing of theirs was in the car that could easily identify them.

"Tahj the tre-" cut off when the car hit a tree and flipped and they started going down some hill. Glass shattering everywhere Iruo felt each time the car hit something.

As soon as they stopped Iruo felt herself being pulled out, holding onto the bag she hissed.

"Police!"

Getting on her feet they both ran under the causeway and climbed up a bit. Taking deep breaths they both looked at each other, Iruo gave him his phone so he could call whoever he needed to.

He spoke to whoever lowly, hanging up and throwing his head back. "We gotta move, soon they finna have dogs out here."

Iruo nodded, watching him check the scenery before waving for her to follow. They ran through the dark woods for a couple hundred feet, getting as far away from the scene as possible.
