With music blasting from the big speakers, placed in every corner of the dark room where colorful lights beamed around, young bodies mingled and swayed, dancing aka grinding on one another to the sensual beat of the popular song. Every part of the body was involved in the dance - hands on the hips, arms hooked around the neck, heads swaying, knees bending, butts wiggling, and lips attached. People were making out while either dancing to the music or being carried away by the lyrics and melody somewhere in the house's dark corners. That was an inevitable occurrence at house parties.

These people were college students, most of them had already turned 21 and were of a legal age to drink in this "free country". And being in Los Angeles where parties were a normal occurrence, these UCLA students couldn't go one weekend without throwing a party at a different house every time.

This weekend was Hyunjin's turn and his fraternity house was currently filled with horny college kids, known and unknown, cheap beer barrels, red solo cups scattered everywhere, loud music, and one lone kid who isolated himself in the darkness of his own room with headphones over his ears, nulling the blaring music from downstairs and obnoxious laughter by loud noise music mixing with the sound effects of the computer game, the flashing lights reflecting on his big round glasses.

But his raid attack on the opposing team was interrupted by his phone buzzing on the desk. Yet, he ignored it and continued pressing different keys to make a swell combination of attacks and defeat the opponent. The buzzing of the phone continued, the phone flashing with numerous message notifications which distracted him and ultimately made his team lose the battle.

Chan threw the headphones off as the texting person was now calling him. Grabbing the phone, Chan swiped over the screen and answered the call.

"I'm busy!" he shouted loud enough for his friend to hear him over the blasting music.

"Just come out of that room and have some fun, will ya?" Hyunjin argued as a random girl ground against his crotch to the rhythm of the song. The tall black-haired boy bit his lip, enjoying her ass rubbing him off.

"No! And stop asking me that every single time you have a party! I'm not attending!"

Not waiting for his friend's reply, Chan ended the call and put his phone on mute before yeeting it to his bed, retaking the headphones and restarting the game to cool down his frustration.

Back downstairs, Hyunjin already lost his boner so no amount of grinding against his groin brought it back. He stopped the girl, kissed her on the cheek, and apologized before walking away and into the kitchen to pour himself some hard alcohol. He gave a smirking blonde a wink as he mixed a tasty gin-tonic.

Leaning against the kitchen counter and sipping on his cocktail, Hyunjin observed the crowd of people. They were either making out, drinking, or dancing, but his mood for partying flopped worse than a poorly-made souffle.

Being friends with Chan for years, Hyunjin just couldn't convince the shy Australian to party or, god forbid, hook up with anyone. On Hyunjin's question, if he was gay, Chan almost hit him with a thick sociology book, the literature flying close past Hyunjin's head and hitting the wall, getting ruined by the impact. But the black-haired one didn't stop asking him to join the party every weekend, hoping that his persistence would make Chan give in. But the curly-haired boy was as stubborn as a mule.

Bang Christopher Chan was the complete opposite of Hwang Sam Hyunjin - while the slim boy enjoyed spending time with the girls and getting drunk on the weekends, the glasses-wearing one spent his time bent over books or losing himself in the world of LOL on his computer or Genshin Impact on his phone. And, somehow, a school heartthrob was best friends with a school geek, being close and helping one another ever since their high school days in South Korea.
