Tara and Chan's assignment preparation and planning were cut short that Tuesday due to... Obvious circumstances.

They parted ways awkwardly, barely looking at each other. Tara apologized numerous times once she returned to the room and more at the house's porch.

"I'm so sorry. It was never my intention..." She began again but Chan's shy chuckle stopped her. She watched his blushing face return to its natural complexion, the dimple and freckles standing more prominent and warming her chest.

"You're repeating yourself," he chuckled again, keeping his smile as he talked. "I said it's okay. It was an accident.

Tara nodded. "Tomorrow at my place?"

And his blush returned, the dimple gone just like his smile. Chan looked away, nervously rubbing the nape of his neck.

"Y-yeah... That's the plan," he looked back at her, the smile adorning her face easing some of his nervous jitters. "I'll transfer the images to a flash drive and we can go over the text tomorrow, basing it around the pictures."

"It's a deal," Tara nodded, gripping the strap of her messenger bag. "See you tomorrow," she added as she stepped down the porch.

"See you," Chan smiled and waved, watching as Tara strolled down the sidewalk, getting back inside only when she was out of sight.

Closing the door behind him, Chan leaned against it, letting out a suppressed sigh. What happened sure affected him and just a thought of it made his groin react but the warmth disappeared when his phone rang, snapping him out of his naughty thoughts.

"Can we return now?" Hyunjin's voice came over the phone.

"Yeah... You can," Chan rolled his eyes, sounding bored, his tone flat.

Hyunjin laughed over the line. "Get ready, Channie. You will tell me everything!"

...

Wednesday classes went on regularly but when it was time for a lunch break, Tara ditched her girlfriends and joined Chan in the cafeteria so that they could discuss their assignment further, gathering more ideas and arranging textual material they'd found.

Though it was present in the morning, the awkwardness about what happened yesterday vanished into thin air when Tara invited Chris to the cafeteria, buying him lunch as an apology despite his protest.

"Oh, I printed out the pamphlets," Chris added, grabbing his backpack to search for the papers.

"Pamphlets? But I thought this will be a digital presentation..." Tara commented but gasped when she saw a stash of papers in his hands.

"We will hand them over to the class while the digital presentation plays from the projector," Chris said, handing Tara a sample.

"Oh, my gosh... This is awesome! Like a tour guide!" she beamed a smile and he nodded.

"Something like that, yeah."

"Chris... this is awesome!"

He chuckled, a small blush covering his freckles. "You're repeating yourself again."

Tara giggled and shrugged. "Sorry, but your idea is just so good. We'll surely ace this assignment." They nodded simultaneously but then Tara gasped, remembering something. "Oh, shoot!" Chris's smile faded and Tara pouted apologetically. "I'm sorry I can't wait for you today. I have to rush straight home after class. But you know where our house is, right?"

"Ah, yeah. It's not a problem," he smiled and Tara's own lips stretched. "I also need to stop by our house to get my laptop."

"Awesome. Let's finish up here, the class is almost starting."
