Meeting the demi -god

"Uh hi" Harry said to the person behind him who happened to be Percy Jackson!

"What were you saying?" The ugly Demi-god asks.

"Sorry." I say.

I wasn't scared of him I just felt bad. I wasn't a mean person!

"What are you wizards doing here?" He asks sharply.

"Excuse me? I prefer to be called a witch! Boys are wizards and girls are called witches! Have a problem with that?" Hermione snaps.

Ron looks amused. I think Hermione and Ron have something.

"Who are they?" A girl with blond hair comes up be hind Percy.

She carries a sword.

"They are wizards." Percy tells her.

"Ew!" The girl backs away.

"Hey!" Hermione draws her wand and points it.

"What's her problem?" The girl asks.

"You!" Hermione starts to say a spell but I stop her.

"This is AnnaBeth." Percy introduces us.

"What are your names anyway?" Percy asks.

"I'm Ron. Ron Weasley." Ron speaks first.

"Harry Potter." I say.

"Hermione Granger." Hermione says in between gritted teeth.

"Oh. Anyway if they're gonna stay here let's get em to camp!" AnnaBeth sighs.

She And Percy lead us to a place with different cabins. It already smells a little funky but I'm positive I'll get used to it soon.

"This is my cabin. Ron and Harry, you can stay here with me. Hermione can stay with AnnaBeth." Percy instructs.

"Come on!" AnnaBeth still seems mad.

Hermione's POV:

"Look I don't know why your acting so much like a prat! But it's rude!" I explode when we reach the cabin.

"Sorry. I was just doing that because of the way Percy looks at you. I was scared he...likes you." AnnaBeth swallows hard.

"What? I may have had a small crush on him before we actually met him...but now he doesn't seem my style." I start to giggle.

"Oh. I'm sorry. Then who do you like?" AnnaBeth looks amused.

"We just met!" I try to hide my slight smile.

"Come on. Is it Harry?" She asks knowingly.

"No. It's Ron." I confess.

"Really? Wow! That's cool. Normally if there's a three, 2 boys and 1 girl the girl normally goes for the leader, like Percy and Harry!" AnnaBeth looks at me like she's proud.

"I don't know if he likes me back." I say.

"Then lets find out!" She rises from the wooden chair she was lounging on and walks out the door.

She motions me to follow. We creep out in the now darkish camp. She leads me to the same cabin we left the boys at.

"Listen." She whispers.

We near a window. I hear the boys talking.

"So is AnnaBeth always this...uptight." Harry asks.

"Uh!" AnnaBeth looks offended.

"Nah, she's just jealous." Percy replies.

"About?" Ron asks.

"I was looking at Hermione earlier and I think she caught my glance and think I like Hermione." He tells them.

"Well...do you?" Ron asks weirdly.

"Do I what?" Percy asks confused.

"Do you like Hermione?" He asks more clearly.

"Yeah. She seems nice." At that me and AnnaBeth look uneasy.

"Look here! You may be better at expressing your feelings but Hermione is mine! I love her!" My heart pounds.

I just want to run to him. Ron loves me?!

"I meant as a friend!" Percy says awkwardly.

"Oh."

"If you...love Hermione than why don't you tell her?" Percy asks.

"Because all three if us have been friends ever since our first year at Hogwarts. What if she doesn't like me back?" Ron asks sadly.

"Well...there's only one way to find out!" We hear shuffling in the cabin and know what they're gonna pull.

"Come on. I have an idea." AnnaBeth leads me to the back if the cabin and we run through trees.

Soon enough we arrive at our cabin...her cabin. We only say the things that we said earlier.

"What's that?" I ask when it's over.

We run out the door and see Harry, Ron and Percy kneeling outside the window. What a surprise.

"What are you guys doing?" AnnaBeth asked (acting).

"Sorry." Ron spoke first.

"It's okay." My cheeks felt warm.

I still couldn't believe Ron likes me...loves me!

"Uh...Hermione..." Ron starts.

"Yes?" My heart pounds.

"Never mind." Ron starts in the other direction as does Harry and-

"Good night AnnaBeth." He kisses AnnaBeth...on the lips!

"Goodnight." AnnaBeth is red.

"Oow!" I giggle when they're gone.

"Your so lucky!" I say in the cabin.

"About? Having Percy?" She asks.

"No. Having someone that'll express his feelings." I collapse on the cot AnnaBeth lent me.

"I know!" We both lay down.
