{This right here is about the point where you need to start reading the other book involved in this, 'Daddy Should Have Never Raised Me On Black Sabbath'. It's my second story (this is my first) and I just want you to understand this. And that's the newest song from PTV called 'The Divine Zero' (obviously) so just read I guess.}
Mike's PoV: After Onyxx whisks away Echo for 'retail therapy', a.k.a. shopping, we have nothing to do but reflect on how weird the past week has been. "I saw Jinxx cry, Ronnie cry, and we all cried when Onyxx was at the pit the other day. And now, we've got a child- a Radke child living on our bus. This is the strangest tour, almost apocalyptic." I say. "And now, we're playing matchmaker with Andy and Onyxx. If they were really meant to be together, wouldn't have they done it ages ago, instead of waiting for a dozen-literal dozen- to help them organize their love lives?" We look at Vic with confused grimaces on our faces. "What went up your-wait a minute, you like her, don't you?!"
I say, Tone and Jaime agreeing with me while Vic tries to shake his head, hiding hes reddening face behind his hair. "Dude. Just stop while you're ahead. You've always been a horrible liar, and you're lying. We all can see it." He sighs, then continues. "I could be so good to her. Be everything. I- I don't even know. I just, she's what I've always wanted. Spunky, compassionate, and just beautiful inside and out. And did you notice how she was almost maternal towards Echo? It was like Onyxx had known her for years instead of just seconds. You can't say that you didn't see it. " "You're right about that. But why did you help her with the song if you don't want her to be with Andy?" Tony pesters him. "I just wanted to help. I didn't want to look like an ass to her." "But she'll figure it out eventually. How you feel. She's observant. It may not be known to everyone, but the more you're with her, the more everyone's going to see what you want her to be to you." "You're going to tell her some time, Vic." We're all trying to talk to him about it.
"Guys! You're not helping! All I want is her, and you're trying to keep me away! What the hell?" Vic's shouting at us like it's our fault that Ondy exists. Yes, I made a ship name. {Well, more like HeatherTheCookie but it works} "I promised her that I'd help her and Andy get together the other day at the tattoo parlor. I'm sorry, Vic. I have to at least try and keep my word to her, dude. I hope you understand." I calmly reply, not wanting to be pissed when Echo gets back. "No, I don't understand! We're brothers, Mike! How can a girl you met just days ago mean more than me? I've known you my whole life!"
Oh, so he's going to pull that card, huh? If dirty's what he wants to play, then I'll show him the rules. "Actually, she's the one that redid my zombie tattoo a few months back, so I've actually known her longer than you have! And I could say the same to you! You're the one over here saying things like how she's all you want, and how you and her would be perfect together, but you seem to have forgotten that you, Jaime, and Tony met her the same day! I knew her before you guys did, and I saw then how her eyes lit up when Andy was mentioned in a conversation, if his song played over the speakers, anything that had to with him made her happy. And you know Victor, how I always, and I mean ALWAYS, keep my word to people. My word is something that means something to me, unlike someone I used to know. Now, I'm not sure who he is anymore. I can't look up to someone who I don't know." The last part was almost a mumble, but everyone heard it loud and clear. I race out of the bus, Tony's footsteps pounding the ground behind me.
"Dude-" "I'm not apologizing! Maybe later when he gets his head back on straight. Just not now. Want to go out for a drink?" I just want to avoid Vic right now. "Sure. Drink as much as you want. I'll make sure you make it back." "Thanks, man. I really just need some whiskey. Or just anything, really." He nods as we call a cab. I'm gonna get so wasted tonight.
Jaime's PoV: That was... whoa. Vic sinks to the ground, absorbing Mike's venomous words. Normally, I would've said that Mike took it too far, referring to "that", but I really couldn't blame him on this one. But Vic's taking it harder than expected. "I never meant to be your pain. What have I become?" You know it's bad when he's starting to sing his own lyrics. "You should just go sleep this off. Mike's most likely getting wasted, so just go to your bunk and sleep. We can move Echo's stuff to mine."
He nods and I help him up, leading the way to the bunks. We get to Vic's bunk and see something that I didn't ever expect to see again. "Jaime! I swear to God that wasn't me! Here, you can check!" He starts stripping, trying to prove himself innocent. His shirt was first, then his shorts followed by his bracelets until he's in nothing but his underwear. Nothing but faded scars of the past. "I know man, I know. But I also have an idea on whose blood that is on your sheets. Oh, he's going to be so fucking pissed when we tell him."
{Well aren't I a bitch? Well I hope you enjoyed that. And Turtle got better from the biking accident which everyone's thankful for. Just be glad that I have more on this.}
