Elena's POV ( 1st person )

I woke up one morning at about 8am to the warm rays of the sun shining on my face. It was finally summer and we had holidays, that meant no school for 6 weeks! And only 2 days left of helping in the store since my parents decided to take a vacation. That meant going to the beach with my friends, doing late night walks, going to the fair, long sleepovers, riding the bikes by the beach at sunset and most importantly, getting to wear my sommer outfits! The thought of it made me excited and I brushed my teeth before I headed downstairs to my parents, who were making breakfast.

"Good morning mamá y papá!"
"Buenos días amor" my mom answered
"Buenos días" dad said shortly after

I smiled at them and I sat down at the table. My mom put the breakfast on my plate and we all began eating, as a family.
I soon finished my food and put it in the dishwasher. I thanked my parents for the breakfast and went to take a shower. I went on tiktok as I got my towel and I saw a video of a boy. He had dark curly hair and dark eyes. He looked very tall in the video. The caption read: "Cris jr spotted in faro, Portugal at the beach"
I was confused because I have no idea who he is and he was apparently spotted at the beach near our store. He looked kind of attractive but I didn't think much of it. I turned off my phone and got into my shower. As I adjusted the temperature of the water, I couldn't help but wonder who he was. He looked oddly familiar but his name is not recognisable. I shrugged it off and continued to shower.
After my shower, I put some lotion on my body and I did my skincare. I put on a white tight shirt and blue jeans. By the time I was ready, it was already 11am. I quickly took my phone, hat and keys before putting on my sneakers and heading to my parents' store right around the corner.
Once I arrived, I saw that there were many people wanting to buy some slushies and snacks and drinks and I quickly put my stuff away and started to help my mom and dad. As soon as we didn't have any more customers left in the store, I flopped down on the chair at the cash register because I was exhausted. It was hot and I was sweaty and it felt disgusting.
It was pretty sunny so I decided to go out for a bit, still standing in front of the store. I enjoyed the nice warm weather. Many cars were passing by and I saw many people already in shorts, bikini tops, crop tops, t-shirts, weather appropriate dresses, you name it.
I went back inside the store and I excused myself from my parents to go change. They agreed and I walked to my house and opened it with my keys. I walked to my room and had changed into some shorts before I closed my front door and locked it. Soon I was back in the store and I was helping around with cleaning, customers and more. Once there weren't as many customers anymore due to everyone being at the beach right in front of the store, my parents and I sat on the bench right outside our store, watching the birds in the sky and the sun glowing on every person that walked by.
I decided to take out my phone and go on tiktok. I scrolled through a few videos but there was one video in particular that catches my eye. It was about the same guy, cris jr. I decided to look up who he was and apparently he was the son of a famous football player? I don't know anything about football or I guess as some people call it soccer so I didn't know who Cristiano Ronaldo was. I looked on Wikipedia and found quite some stuff about him.
After I was on Wikipedia, I switched back to tiktok and I saw more videos of that cris jr guy. Don't get me wrong, he kind of looked good. He was exactly my type but before I like someone I need to know stuff about them first. I found out that he's a pretty nice guy and I guess I kind of lost control because after that I found myself saving videos of him.
It wasn't like a crush but more of a celebrity crush. I knew that I would not meet him even if he probably was right at the next corner. It was getting so hot to the point I turned off my phone and went back inside the store, putting on the ac.
I called my best friends, roya and yohanna.

"Heyyy" I said
"Hiii, wsp?"
"Nothing much but I need to tell you guys smth" I said
"What is it?" Yohanna asked
"Well do you guys know this guy called cris jr?"
"Omggg yesss! Like everyone knows him, he's the son of cr7" roya said
"Ok well I heard he's in faro right now" I informed
"Not surprised, his grandma and cousin live here"
"What? Really? Who's his cousin?" I asked
"His cousin is Dinis pereira"
"Ohhh Dinis? Seriously? He's cris jr's cousin? Damn" I said
"What? Do you know him or smth?"
"Yeah his ex used to be my friend, well before she kind of talked about me."
"Who? Lara?" Yohanna asked
"Yes."
"Lara panquecas?"
"Mhm."
"Damnnnn.."
"But I don't only know him from her, I also know him bc I go to his games sometimes."
"His football games you mean? I thought you didn't know anything about football."
"Well I don't but it's for the aesthetic yk?"
"Ohhh got ya. Well anyways, you said cris is here?"
"Ig idk"
"Damnnn that's good though, maybe you can finally stop being so stubborn" Yohanna said
"Wdym stubborn?"
"Well what I mean is, you've never had a crush or boyfriend before. It's time you at least have a crush on someone and cris is the perfect boy. He matches with you soooo much"
"Yonaaaa (yohanna) you know I like to focus on my studies and besides I don't even like boys."
"Then why did you say something about cris?"
"I just wanted to know if you guys knew who he was."
"Okay okay fine, sorry. Hey roya, everything okay? You haven't said much." Yohanna mentioned
"O-oh Yh, it's just I'm kind of tired haha. I'm gonna hang up."
"Wait! I was thinking, what if we all do something today?" I said
"Oh sure, what?"
"Maybe go to the fair? At like let's say 5-6pm?"
"Sure I'm in, roya?"
"Uhm I have things to do. Sorry. Bye."
"That was strange." I said
"Yh, she's been acting pretty weirdly lately. It's like she's hiding something from us."
"Mhm. Whatever. So 5:30pm?"
"Yhhhh I'm excited, where do we meet?"
"Let's meet at my store. It's right next to the fair."
"Yh ok. Cya later!"
"Bye" I say as Yohanna hangs up.

I put my phone away and i lean back on my chair, when suddenly someone walked into the store...
