The first encounter

It was Cris jr.

I got up from my chair hurriedly to stand up and stand in front of the register. He was walking up the tiny stairs with Dinis and two other guys. He stopped in front of the register and looked at me. Gosh, he was even more handsome in person.

"Olá" he said and smiled at me
"Olá" I said
"What do you want to buy?" I said in Portuguese.
"This coke bottle and some gum"

I smiled and rang it up.

"3 euros and 24 cents" I said

He handed me five euros

"Keep the change"
"Thank you"

He kept looking at me and then he said something.

"What's your name?" He asked me
"Oh uh it's Elena"
"Pretty name."
"Oh uh thank you." I say as I smile and blush
"Oh hey Dinis." I say and look at him
"Hi, what cris is saying is that he wants you to come to the beach with us, you can also bring friends"
"Oh uh I have to see. My parents might need help and Yh"
"It okay, text me then if you're allowed to go" Dinis said
"Mhm, I will."

Cris smiled at me and they all left. I can't believe it. The cris jr wanted me to go to the beach with him. And his cousin and friends. Omg. I ran to my parents to ask the, if I could go. They hesitated but agreed since I was always helping them and since it was summer. I hugged them and ran to my house to get my swimsuit and some stuff for the beach. I texted Dinis that I was coming. I also asked Yohanna and roya if they wanted to come and they both freaked out and of course said yes. We met in front of the shop and walked to the beach together. Roya was oddly quiet. Only Yohanna and I were talking.

"Hey roya, you're oddly quiet, is everything ok?"
"Oh uh mhm. Just sweating cuz of the heat haha." She said akwardly
"Ok..."

We arrived and I asked Dinis where he was

"We're next to the big beach house" he replied

My friends and I changed into our swimsuits and then put our stuff in a safe locker. We walked over to the beach house and looked for them. Suddenly, someone tapped me on my shoulder from behind.

"Hey." Cris said
"Oh hi, where are the others?" I asked
"They're in the beach house"
"What? That's your beach house?"
"Mhm. Also don't mind my stepmom. She's also in there" he added
"O-oh, okay."

He said hi to my friends and went inside the beach house.
Then, a woman came up to me. It was Georgina.

"Hola, soy Georgina" she said and smiled at us
"Hola!" We said back

Cris lead us to the dining table, where Dinis and his friends were sitting. We sat down and ate some snacks before going to the living room. I noticed that roya was sitting oddly close to cris. Like almost touching him. She started talking to cris. I noticed that she was flirting with him. Someone has a crush they never told Yohanna and I about. I turned to Yohanna and asked her if we should go swim. She agreed.

"Wait I wanna come too" cris said
"Yh me too" Dinis said
"Mhm" his other friend said
"Oh Yh I wanted to ask, we never got a chance to formally introduce ourselves. What's ur name?"
"I'm Ahmed."
"I'm nawaf"
"Ok nice, so let's go swimming?" I asked
"Mhm"

We walked out of the beach house to the shore. Cris pushed me in to the water.

"Cris!" I shouted
"Sorry" he said and chuckled. His laugh was so cute.
I noticed that yohanna kept getting along with nawaf. Damn. They are cute asf together.
We all had fun at the beach and the boys also played football/soccer at shore. The sun was now setting so I packed my stuff to go home.

"Are you going already?" Cris asked
"Mhm. I have to help my parents clean the shop tomorrow since it's our last day before summer vacation"
"Oh, Are you going somewhere?"
"No I'm not, I'm staying in Portugal"
"How about you go to Riyadh with me?"
"O-oh. I don't know, I don't think my parents would wanna pay for a trip like that."
"I'll pay." He suggested
"Oh..ihm..I'll think about it, can I take my friends with me? I mean if it's not too much"
"No dw, ofc you can. I'll ask Gio, my mom"
"Ok thanks"
"Can I have ur number?"
"Sure"

I gave him my number and I said bye to him before going back home. The whole time Roya was only flirting with cris. I think she likes him. She also kept giving me these weird looks every time I talked to him. But whatever.
I arrived back home and greeted my parents

"How was the beach?" My mom asked
"Amazing, we had so much fun"
"What do you mean "we"?" My dad asked
"Oh just roya, yohanna and I and some other friends."
"Oh ok"

I took off my shoes and went up to my room. I changed into my pjs and got into bed. I noticed that Cris had texted me.

"Hey beautiful, wanna hang tmrw?" Read the text

Beautiful? I just met this guy and he's already calling me beautiful? Omg.

"I gotta ask but sure why not" I replied
"Elena, Baja las escaleras!" My mom called out
"Mhm! Coming!" I yelled back

I got up and went downstairs to my parents who were sitting at the dining table.

"Are you hungry miel?"
"Mhm. A little bit."
"Ok then sit." My dad said

I sat down at the table and my mom continued to chat with my dad and I.

"Sooo.. amor, who were those other friends at the beach?"
"Oh uh no one special."
"Rlly? You can tell us, I'm really curious" my mom said
"Ok ok, but don't freak out. Especially you dad."
"Ok?"
"So it was 4 boys. Dinis, you both know him, a guy called nawaf who was his friend, a guy called Ahmed who was also his friend and uh...don't freak out."
"What?"
"Also Cris jr."
"What? The son of Christiano Ronaldo?"
"Sí."
"Elena it's ok, but pls try to keep a good distance. You're too young to date."
"Dadddd I'm just friends with them"
"Honey, even if Elena dated, you should be happy that it's Cris jr and not some street boy. That's amazing that you're friends with him honey."
"Thanks mamá."

We continued chatting and I soon finished dinner. I headed upstairs where I brushed my teeth and I did my skincare. I saw that Cris had texted me again.

"Did you ask them?"

Shoot I forgot to ask them.

"Oh sorry I forgot. I'll ask tomorrow morning"
"Ok."

I sent a round snap on Snapchat and I turned off my phone before I closed my eyes and drifted of to sleep.
