Chapter 5

Scarlett's POV

Are you kidding me!!!???!!!

Niall James Horan. THE Niall Horan from One Direction just asked me to dance?!?

I'm dreaming..

"If I can dance with you I'd love to dance!" I said then mentally slapped myself again.

Why do I say such stupid things?

The song Kissed you Goodnight by Gloriana started playing.

I don't know the song to well because I'm not into country music much.

So I turned off the car

Ran through the yard

Back to your front door

Before I could knock

You turned the lock

And met me on the front porch

And I kissed you

Goodnight

And now that I kissed you

It's a goodnight goodnight

Baby goodnight

I just looked at the ground most of the time because I'm not the best dancer.

I quickly looked up to Niall to see that he was already staring at me so I looked down again.

I felt a blush appear on my cheeks.

Why am I blushing?

I couldn't really like him that much could I?

Niall tilted my chin up lightly and started to lean in.

So many thoughts were rushing through my head.

What if he kiss's me? Do I kiss him back? What if he doesn't like me? What if my breath smells bad?

What if??

He put his forehead against mine and said,"Your beautiful. You know that right?"

I shook my head a little not wanting to move.

I looked into his eyes and the feeling came again.

It was like 10 million butterflies exploded in my stomach.

He closed the gap between us by pressing his lips to mine.

His lips were so soft and the kiss was slow and gentle.

He pulled away and looked right into my eyes.

The song had stopped and more people were coming onto the dance floor.

He grabbed my hand and pulled me to a small table in the back of the bar.

"I'm sorry..." Niall said sadly.

Why was he saying sorry? We kissed and I felt a spark..

I hope he felt the same thing..

"Why would you say sorry?" I asked. A little nervous to hear his answer.

"Because I just kissed you and didn't ask or anything." He said full of sorrow in his voice.

I grabbed his hand, led him through the bar and outside.

I walked into the ally way next to the bar and stopped.

"Scarlett! Where are you going?!? I said I was sor-"Niall started to say but I put him up to the wall.

"Niall don't you dare ever say sorry for kissing a girl. That was my first kiss though..."

I looked up at him and he went pale.

I think Niall thought I was going to hurt him.

I put my hands around him neck and pulled him down so our lips were centimeters apart.

"Thank you." I said then put my lips over his.

The kiss was again slow but more passionate. Niall licked my bottom lip asking for entrance.

I was hesitant at first but let him in.

His tongue exploring my mouth while I was doing the same with mine.

We broke the kiss breathing heavily for more air.

I don't know what I just did.....
