This story follows a young boy named tanjiro kamado. he lives happily in the mountains with his family but One day his family gets killed but he manages to strike the attacker, he wakes up with blood in a new place but finds out he is half demon and...
After a long time, the duo reached a forest and decided to rest as the Sun was Setting on the horizon. The night fell. It was a dark moonless night. The Darkness covered the sky. As the Darkness grew, the demons who lurked in the shadow came out. This Tanjiro and Kanao were on high alert. Suddenly, two demons came out of the shadows but only to be pierced gracefully by Kanao's sword.
The duo fought until the demons started to retreat and then began their journey again. Morning came, and so did the fog. As the thick fog enveloped their visions, Tanjiro's other senses heightened to a level he had never achieved before.
He could see through the fog as it wasn't there, but his field of vision was short. As he was standing there with Kanao behind him, subtly protecting her with his arm in front of her, he saw a shadow coming at them, slowly walking towards them.
"Who are you!? Reveal yourself!"Tanjiro yelled at the figure.
??? - I think you know who I am... don't you, dear successor...
As the fog thickens to make sure no one wandering would see them the figure revealed itself...
Yorrichi...
T - Yorrichi?! H-how are you here?!
Y - You came here seeking me... I have shown myself... I also see someone else with you..
K - H-Hello Mr.Tsugikuni, it's a pleasure to meet you I'm Kanao Tsuyuri. but how are you here..?
Y - it's... complicated, why don't we sit and talk...
Tanjiro and kanao sit on the ground while Yorrichi sits on a nearby Boulder.
Y - let me explain...
My blood is special..it had the power to hurt demons.. poison them of sorts. Then when I fought Muzan... he tried to make me his own pawn.. I fought, but he managed to get some of his blood into my system.. he fled as you know, but after that.. I started feeling changes in my body.. I thought I was going to become a demon, but no.. I felt normal.. healthier and stronger even..
I got to the conclusion that my blood was the reason I didn't become a demon yet gained the powers of one.. as you already know Tanjiro.. you too possess that blood.. it is far more potent and far stronger.. that is why you felt it take over.. this ghostly body of mine was a last-ditch effort of mine when I was alive..
if my successor..with the same blood as me came to this place.. this phantom-like body would be given life, and I would have only been released once I fulfilled my purpose. That is to enlighten you and help you defeat Muzan Kibutsuji
You, my dear, are the only one who can defeat Muzan...
I know I am burdening you with such a big task, but it is necessary... you must do it.. to protect Nezuko...Kanao...Inosuke...Zenitsu.. everyone you love is counting on you. The fate of the entire world rests upon your shoulders...
Fret not, I shall guide you..till Muzan dies I shall be there... I shall enter your body as a separate consciousness, unable to control your body much but help you train.
And so... I give you these as my gifts to you... tools to defeat Muzan...

He handed Tanjiro many items, including a purple crescent moon-shaped hairpin, which Tanjiro gave to Kanao. This pin had belonged to Yoriichi's beloved and had protective charms. It could also be used as a poison; opening the moon revealed a purple substance deadly enough to kill weaker demons and even harm stronger ones.
Tanjiro was given a katana for his demonic form. He also received two vials of Yoriichi's blood, which could weaken Muzan or boost Tanjiro's strength. Drinking one vial, he felt a powerful surge of energy.
He kept the other vial and took some vials of wisteria poison, much stronger than Shinobu's.
With everything ready, Yoriichi's spirit entered Tanjiro, making him collapse.
Later, Tanjiro heard Kanao's soft voice telling him to wake up because they had to go back. Realizing he was lying in her lap, he blushed and woke up quickly. They decided to continue their journey in silence.
They reached the village by nightfall and told inosuke and zenitsu about what happened.
They headed back to their assigned house and packed down. As the night fell Tanjiro started patrolling and training. He took out some demons and trained his 4 breathing styles [Moon, Sun and Twilight and water if ya forgot].
He trained for a while and went to sleep. Kanao and the others woke up soon after sunrise and started heading out to the training ground only to see Tanjiro training his body.

He was certainly strong and his body was shaped by the several battles he had with the demons but no one thought of him like this. Inosuke and zenitsu were shocked and kanao went red and decided to face away in embarrassment.
Tanjiro noticed them and quickly put on his shirt and walked up to them.
T - Good morning inosuke and Zenitsu! You too Kanao!
I - GOMPANCHIRO!!!! HOW IS YOUR BODY LIKE THAT!! FIGHT MEEEEE!
Z - Damn Tanjiro. Just what have you been doing these days? You got such good physique man!
T - Thanks Zenitsu! and No inosuke we can spar in the evening after training.
He turns to see Kanao
T - You okay Kanao?
K - I-I uh I am fine! perfectly fine!
Tanjiro chuckles at her response.
K - H-has Yorrichi contacted you?
T - Nope I think he needs time to do that.
K - O-ok
and with that tanjiro and the others start going through town for more clues about Muzan since they already knew a bit about Yorrichi and needed to focus on Muzan.
The day wasn't as successful in terms of gathering information. In the afternoon they started training again. Nezuko joined them too. Then They started Dueling.
T - Okay guys shall we start Sparring?
Others - Alright!
[Each of them are gonna be small as I'm not too versed in writing battles as you might have noticed in previous chapters.]
