Suguru stretched, his eyes blinking open as he stirred from his slumber, the first to rise among the trio. He glanced over at Shoko and Satoru sprawled beside him, a fond smile tugging at his lips.

With a gentle hand, he pulled the blanket up, tucking it snugly around them, leaving the two of them cocooned on the sofa-bed. Slipping out from beneath the covers, Suguru made his way to the bathroom, his messy hair begging for attention.

Grabbing his brush, he attacked the unruly strands until they obeyed, then tidied up the scattered hair on the sink. Toothbrush in hand, he started his morning routine.

Mid-brush, his gaze flickered to the living room, catching sight of Shoko and Satoru stirring from their slumber.

"Morning, you two," Suguru greeted with a grin, watching as Satoru groaned and shielded his eyes.

Completing his dental hygiene, he exited the bathroom. "I'll go check on [Your Name], don't wreck anything while I'm gone," he admonished, eyebrows raised.

"Yeah, yeah, we're not gonna trash the place," Satoru grumbled. "Absolutely, we're angels," Shoko chimed in with a mischievous grin.

Rolling his eyes, Suguru ascended the stairs, excitement bubbling within him at the mere thought of seeing you.

"Morning [Your Name], I came up here to check on you,"

No response.

You were probably sound asleep or lost in your music. Pushing the door open, Suguru's eyes widened in disbelief.

The room was empty.

His heart lurched in his chest, panic bubbling up as his gaze darted to the open window, the chilly morning air seeping in.

Suguru let out a curse under his breath, his heart racing as he scanned the room, his mind instantly jumping to the worst-case scenarios. "Shit! Where the hell did she go?" He muttered, his grip tightening on the doorframe.

He rushed back downstairs, panic evident in his expression as he found Satoru and Shoko lounging on the sofa, seemingly unconcerned. "She's not there!" Suguru exclaimed, his voice rising with worry.

Satoru shrugged nonchalantly. "Maybe she went out for a morning stroll," he suggested with a smirk, earning a glare from Suguru.

"A morning stroll? Are you kidding me? This isn't the time for your stupid jokes, Satoru!" Suguru snapped, his frustration boiling over.

Shoko rolled her eyes, sitting up with a sigh. "Calm down, Suguru. We'll find her, Satoru's place is huge," she said, trying to reassure him.

Suguru took a deep breath, trying to compose himself. "Right, we need to split up and search for her. She couldn't have gone far," he declared, his mind already racing with possible places you could be.

Satoru got up lazily, stretching his arms. "Fine, fine. I'll check the surrounding area. Shoko, you stay here in case she comes back," he said, already heading towards the door.

As Satoru left, Suguru turned to Shoko, his eyes pleading. "Keep your phone on you. If you find anything, call me immediately," he instructed, his tone serious.

Shoko nodded, giving him a reassuring smile. "Don't worry, Suguru. We'll bring her back safely," she promised, her gaze firm.

With a nod of gratitude, Suguru dashed out of the house, his heart pounding with worry for your safety. He couldn't bear the thought of anything happening to you, not when you were one of the most important person in his life.

Your heavy eyelids reluctantly gave way to consciousness, battling against the fatigue that weighed them down. You groaned, feeling utterly drained after an early morning start.

"[Your Name], rise and shine. Food's here, and I know you're starving," Kenjaku poked your side, eliciting a wince from you. With a sluggish movement, you sat up, rubbing the sleep from your eyes.

Wrapped in a cocoon of blankets, you couldn't shake off the chill that clung to your bones. Kenjaku handed you a bag, steam wafting from one side while the other remained strangely cold.

You peered into the bag, revealing a burger, fries, and a drink. Despite the enticing aroma, you shook your head, the weariness still clinging to you like a stubborn shadow. Reluctantly, you handed the bag back to Kenjaku.

"Not hungry," you fibbed, your stomach protesting silently but your mind craving the solace of sleep. You longed to drift back into unconsciousness until the exhaustion ebbed away.

A sharp pinch to your cheek startled you, followed by Toji's gruff voice. "Eat first, then you can go back to sleep," he grumbled, his own fatigue evident as he rubbed his eyes.

You pouted, feeling like a petulant child being coerced into doing something against their will. "But I'm so tired," you whined, hoping to appeal to Toji's softer side.

Toji's expression softened slightly, but his resolve remained firm. "I know, but you'll feel better after eating," he insisted, his hand still resting on your shoulder in a gesture of both comfort and authority.

With a defeated sigh, you begrudgingly reached for the burger, taking a small bite as if to appease Toji. The savory flavor burst on your tongue, momentarily distracting you from your weariness.

As you chewed, you couldn't help but steal a glance at Kenjaku, who was watching you with a mixture of amusement and concern. "Come on, [Your Name], you gotta keep your strength up," he encouraged, flashing you a reassuring smile.

Reluctantly, you nodded, resigning yourself to the fact that eating might indeed be the quickest route back to dreamland. "Fine, but only because you two are so insistent," you grumbled, though a small smile tugged at the corners of your lips.

Toji ruffled your hair affectionately, his gruff demeanor softening as he chuckled. "That's the spirit," he said, his tone surprisingly gentle.

...

As you lounged at the random stop, surrounded by the unlikely duo of Kenjaku and Toji, you couldn't help but feel a creeping sense of exhaustion seep into your bones, despite the music blaring in your ears.

"When did Sukuna leave..?" you muttered, rubbing your eyes in a futile attempt to ward off the drowsiness.

Kenjaku glanced at you, a hint of sadness flickering across his features. "He left while you were asleep. Had to go back and make sure Yuji and Choso were alright. Those are his brothers after all," he explained, his voice tinged with a mix of concern and reminiscence.

A pang of guilt twisted in your gut. "It's my damn fault Suguru's acting like this. I don't get why you even bothered to help me, but I appreciate it," you confessed, feeling the weight of your actions.

Kenjaku's grin was wistful as he tousled your hair affectionately. "Nah, he never really cared for me much anyhow. Those threats were just him finally following through," Kenjaku shrugged, his expression nonchalant.

Toji, sprawled out below you, stirred at the sound of your voice. "You look tired, [Your Name]. Go to sleep. We'll wake you up when we start driving again, alright?" he murmured, his head nestled against your thighs.

"Sure thing. Thanks again, you guys. Seriously, I owe you one," you replied gratefully, a small smile tugging at your lips as you allowed your heavy eyelids to finally succumb to sleep.

Drowsiness took over you as the time turned to 4:44.
